true, farve has never been on a team wiht this much fire power. its wonderful to witness. but he is doing a masterful job as field general, u cnt deny that, and the age he is doing it at is unprecidented in the nfl.

Yeah not many people put any faith in the Vikings to get it done against a hot Cowboys team, but I think we put all of the negatives to rest with that decisive win.

I'm sure most people will pick the Saints to win because of their blowout win over Arizona. However, don't count the Purple out next weekend. We have #4 and if we give him time in the pocket we are flippin' tough to beat. Also, the Saints have yet to face a defense of our caliber this year. The one team they played with a top-ranked defense (Green Bay) they lost to...so we shall see.

Either way...BRING IT SAINTS!

I'll root for the Saints, but I love to see Brett Favre doing well. I like the idea of QB close to my age doing well in the NFL.

just a possibilty i'm thinking for favre... favre might get careless. he has a tendency to get careless with his throws. he's played so well lately so he needs to remember accuracy is the key. just throwing it up against the saints and specifically darren sharper won't be as easy as it was against the cowboys. i will say though he had some really good throws last sunday. hope next sunday will be a good game. i'm sure the superdome will be insane! much better atmosphere for the saints than last time they went to the NFC championships in chicago.

I would love to see Favre vs Petyon in the SB, that would be awesome. I would be torn b/c my dad is a huge Green Bay fan and have grown up around them and I like Favre.

No matter what anyone says about how/why it happened, how long he held out, it was the single best thing that happened to the Vikings this year. Without Brett standing there, I'm pretty confident that our MN boys would be playing golf somewhere warm right now. Props to 40 yr old Brett, props to the Vikings for going this far. Only two steps left to take this year, hopefully they can get it done.

Overall a very entertaining game...tough to see my squad lose on account of a ridiculous number of turnovers. We also slowed down the potent Saints offense and racked up almost 500 yards in offense ourselves. My hats off to the Saints for playing tough and coming out on top. That team deserved to win. For the Vikings they will have to spend the off-season thinking about fumbles and many missed opportunities. :(

I'm officially pulling for the Saints to win the Super Bowl. I have great respect for Peyton Manning, but I have no desire to see him win another ring.
