WTF!?!?! the guy scored 49points and is 23 years old. u cant win on your own....

dont u know a star when u see one. u have to have players around u and on the bench to win in the nba.

he made the cavs turn from garbage into a consistent playoff team...all in his early 20's.

i wouldnt count him out.
exactly, and they still lost, lol

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

:no way:

I think this was a really special way of ending the season for the cavs, I'm happy they got to experience one last bit of lebron magic, the man is definitely amazing.

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

I am just glad the people of cleavland have a little something to cheer and be happy about.

they probably the most screwed city regarding sports. suffering a long time for a championship of any kind.

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

nice shot i dont hate anyone, if you ever actually READ what i wrote.. i dont like how the media hypes these athletes before they accomplish anything.. a la mike vick if celeveland makes the finals, thats great

as far as the age comparison, mj went to college.. so the comparison would be years in the nba.

im not saying lebron wont be great.. jesus, whatever, im not arguing about this, lol.. who cares, enjoy the play offs

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

carmelo has looked really fuckin good so far in this series. here's to seeing him take out kobe!!

#1223338Post 133 of 236

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

^ except that those fouls of his are really undermining his team's opportunities. very spastic of him.

i've been a Lakers fan all my life, so i know when it'll be tough for them in the playoffs... and they are missing way to many free throw shots right now, period. Kobe is coming thru in teh clutch as always, and nice work by Ariza and Gasol on d. I'm actually a Nuggets fan as well, and i want to see them win their first, so i'm somewhat mixed/detatched in this series. gotta give it up for Anderson though; that champ is preforming exceptionally, no doubt. step in rhythm.

to Kobe and Lebron : there's no " i " in team.

#1223956Post 138 of 236

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

What do you guys think is Kobe too tired to pull this series off?

The magic/cavs game is going to be huge tonight, I think the Magic will win and hope the officials get their act together. The magic have too many x-factors and are the superior team of the 2, I really would like to see them win the championship this year! Not sure exactly how they stack up against the Lakers, but if that may not matter if the nuggies bring more energy than LA knows how to handle.

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

people just need to stop comparing him to jordan and realise he is exactly where mj was at this point in his nba career.. early in mj's playoff career he was playing out of his mind but didnt have the "team" around him to get the job done.. the media can wish and hope for what they think is their dream match up.. but honestly, at this point watching la and cleveland in their respective series', an nba finals between those two teams will awful to watch.. it is painfully obvious which are the better TEAMS ;)

yes, though that may be true, but that was the "expected" result.. you cant argue that it's bullshit orlando has been playing second fiddle to a mediocre cavs team these whole playoffs true cleveland swept the first two rounds... but orlando also won a game 7 on boston's home court, the defending champs, allbeit without KG. plus doing in spite of the ineptness of van gundy, lol and denver more often than not is completely outclassing the lakers to the point jackson is whining about officiating, and unsportsmanlike play

hey there is no denying....the cavs look horrible compared to the majic.

i was just hoping lebron would be able to get the city of ctown a championship b4 he jumps ship after next year. but i dont really have any faith in the cavs....magic looks like the best team.

#1224126Post 150 of 236

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

^The city of Orlando is also ready for a championship, we've never had one in 20 yrs. Good timing too with the brand new Arena being built and receiving all the necessary $millions in financing this past month. We've got a ways to go, not counting any of these excellent teams out all-together.

Here's a funny example of what not playing basketball for more than 10 years looks like. This is me on a cruise ship dropping 360 slam dunks like nobodies bus-ness

#1224267Post 159 of 236

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

We're down to the last few minutes, petraeus just got elbowed in the jaw by lebron, lead is down to one, GO MAGIC!!

^ ^ ^ Up by 2 with 4 seconds left...this is exactly where we were last time but with 1 second left the King of the NBA made a 3. Hope we learned some kind of lesson, I think this game will go into overtime.

Re: 2009 NBA Playoffs.

-great game! -lebron is an offensive foul machine, and i wouldn't be surprised if that elbow gets a second look as does dwight howards technical -as many great shots as james hit near the end, you just dont get that feel of him controlling the game.. yet..at times he looked a bit unsure of himself in the 4th quarter, but he needs a stronger supporting cast for sure -that fluffy haired git trying to guard howard is a joke -188 teams have been down 1-3, only 8 have come back
