Re: Bin Laden's Pictures to be released.
So Bin Laden apparently made a video claiming he was responsible for the attacks, funny thing with that video he also claimed he was the most optimistic and had the foresight to believe the buildings would collapse as a result of the attack.
Al Qaeda trained to military spec. What for? in the last 10 years how many para military attacks have we had from al Qaeda? None. There's been no abseiling down the roof of some embassy at midnight, no week long hostage situation. No 20 man shot out at the OK coral. In fact there has has been nothing that has required some highly trained military spec solder. What we have had is the pants bomber, the shoe bomber & 7/7.All of which where carried out by people who where at best incompetent and certainly didn't look like they where part of any underground network of super solders. In fact why train someone to military spec just to have them blow themselves up in some bizarre suicide mission.
The only thing I have seen to support your statement is some videos of individuals shooting rocks in the desert and doing the krypton factor obstacle course. and sorry but asking you to Trust You on this doesn't really make your statement any more believable. Maybe you should watch Adam Curtis's The Power Of Nightmares where he actually go's to one of these training camps. In 2001 the Bush administration told us they would show us the evidence that Al Qaeda where responsible for 9/11, but guess what they never did.
in that same video he also seemed to be surprised @ how effective the attack was..he actually says he DID NOT expect the towers to fall, his words not mine.
as for the claims of military trained spec, ok they aint exactly navy seals but they are known to have operatives operating in military training camps in certain areas and certainly in the camps of police training in Afghanistan gaining training, most leave those camps fully trained and pass on their skills to others, ok the images of people running around an assault course in the middle of a desert aint exactly putting fear into the forces minds when it comes down to it but this is the "public" image, the guys that go through there receive a basic training and are probably at the bottom of the list when it comes to skill wise but ( i may be wrong here ) like most forces will have people trained to different levels within the organisation, they aint stupid people m8 and this is what makes them dangerous.
you mention the lack of attacks but you have completely overlooked just how effective the attacks carried out have been, they don't just fill trucks up with explosives and drive them to a certain point and trigger the detonator ... there is planning behind these attacks and surely 9/11 should show this to be true..
getting explosives onto flights would be extremely difficult for even a trained seal or someone else who is highly trained, there are many things security wise you don't see in airports so the likely hood of the chemicals in the shoe bomber and the pants bomber were probably not correctly mixed thus not setting off any alarm bells in the airport security measures and also this was probably why they were not either successful or caught before they boarded.
You tell us this evidence would have been submitted to security services around the world a very long time ago and to have us believe that this evidence was submitted to security services around the world a very long time ago, your asking a lot there. In fact most of your post is based on speculation not truth.
hey i might be wrong about this u may be right but the passing of such info between trusted security services around the world does happen as its in the interest of both homeland and world wide security.. if u think about it just looking @ which countries have soldiers fighting in iraq and also Afghanistan this might back up my claim a little because those countries need to have a reason for being there

No I didn't overlook it. I don't believe that they where responsible for 9/11. Like I have said before the acts of terroism since 9/11 have been on a much poorer scale and certainly nothing that requires military expertise.
Re: Bin Laden's Pictures to be released.
doesn't the fact that these guys actually are training people in the desert of whatever alert you to the fact that these guys really want to achieve something ? i mean if they don't really want to achieve anything then why are they putting people through training ? every military outfit in the world had to start somewhere and they have furthered their skills through training soldiers for a long period of time, do you really want al qaeda to further their knowledge in military like operations/training... its a nip in the butt type situation and imo its wise

LOL there is a simple answer to that m8, the fact that there was a loophole in security measures was completely exposed when this happened, security around the world upped its game after this happened

Wrong again, living in the UK you must have seen a fair amount of News where journalists have done just that. The problem they have is the people working in the airports don't give a shit. They have had scanners that don't work, they can't be bothered to check the right quota of people passing through to departures.

You think the whole world has become more vigilant?
Re: Bin Laden's Pictures to be released.

i think the objective word here is "FAKE", is a huge difference in fake bomb making equipment and the real thing

Re: Bin Laden's Pictures to be released.
I already explained what happened to the underwear bomber banned. There is a thread on it. He was put on the plane by the CIA as a scare tactic to get body scanners put in airports. That is common knowledge now.
I think what Chunky was trying to say is "Keep drinking the Kool Aid" not get medicated.

WTF? That video just showed me some old man watching tv..
Look at the media language.. haunting and candid videos.. I mean do you hear the narrator?? "You are gonna see an OBL we have never seen.. he is intently, intently watching himself on TV " I was waiting for something to happen.. What next video of OBL watching porno's?
Why would he film himself watching tv? Why would he have his back turned the whole time?

pretty dumb move on behalf of al qaeda imo, thats probably how they found him by following a network of known members then following the people that came into contact with these people

moving on from what i said there, it clearly obvious that different media stories and reports have influenced our beliefs on this and i,ve said previously that many media outlets have fabricated stories based on what information they themselves have got, there is no real way of telling if these media outlets have received correct viable information on the whole story so were basically all arguing over our own beliefs which are based on what we have been fed on or what we have looked @ ourselves.
all my posts are based on what i was thinking on what i seen myself and its completely obvious from some of the replies that others have different thoughts on it... the truth is that we will never really know the full truth because this is all completely classified information even though its been a world wide media frenzy

Re: Bin Laden's Pictures to be released.
On Christmas Day 2009, Abdulmutallab traveled from Ghana to Amsterdam, where he boarded Northwest Airlines Flight 253 en route to Detroit. He had purchased his ticket with cash in Ghana on December 16.[114] Eyewitnesses Kurt Haskell and Lori Haskell recounted live on CNN that, prior to boarding the plane, they witnessed a "smartly dressed Indian man" who spoke "in an American accent" helping Abdulmutallab onto the plane.[115][116][117][118] They also testify that the ticket agent refused to allow Abdulmutallab on the plane because he did not have his own passport.[119] These circumstances underlie some of the passengers' speculations that the U.S. government supplied a defective device to the perpetrator and a man in a tan suit with an American accent intervened, the matter was referred to a manager, and Abdulmutallab was then able to board the plane, presumably still without a passport.[120] Such a defense and counterclaim will unlikely be played in Court as long as Abdulmutallab insists on undertaking his own defense, which some take as yet a further suggestion that Abdulmutallab is subject to manipulation. Abdulmutallab spent about 20 minutes in the bathroom as the flight approached Detroit, and then covered himself with a blanket after returning to his seat. Other passengers then heard popping noises, smelled a foul odor, and some saw Abdulmutallab’s trouser leg and the wall of the plane on fire. Fellow passenger Jasper Schuringa, a Dutch film director, jumped on Abdulmutallab and subdued him as flight attendants used fire extinguishers to douse the flames.[121] Abdulmutallab was taken toward the front of the airplane cabin, was seen to have lost his trousers due to the fire, and had burns on his legs.[122] When asked by a flight attendant what he had in his pocket, he replied: “Explosive device.” The device consisted of a six-inch (15-cm) packet which was sewn into his underwear[1][123][124] containing the explosive powder PETN, which became a plastic explosive when mixed[125] with the high explosive triacetone triperoxide (TAPN) (the same two explosives that were used by Richard Reid in 2001[126][127]), and a syringe containing liquid acid.[128] Abdulmutallab created the explosive by mixing PETN with TAPN and other ingredients.[128] After being taken into custody, Abdulmutallab told authorities he had been directed by al Qaeda, and that he had obtained the device in Yemen.[129] Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the organization's affiliate in Yemen, subsequently claimed responsibility for the attack, describing it as revenge for the United States' role in a Yemeni military offensive against al Qaeda in that country.[130]
LOL just because they guy had an american accent doesn't mean it was a CIA operative...and this is a huge lax in security, he should not have been allowed to board that plane
Re: Bin Laden's Pictures to be released.
i,d also like to know more info on this guy with the american accent...where does he suddenly get out from the story ? did he board the plane ? and why did the manager who he spoke to not reveal to officials/security services what the guy with the american accent said to him before the guy was allowed to board the plane ?
my thoughts on this just confirms of just how dangerous these guys are, if the guy with the american accent was an al qaeda operative then he must of had knowledge on how a member of the security services would be able to get a guy without a passport onto a plane...does that make sense ?
