he went to war with Libya without congresses consent. Gosh this is embarrassing.
Let me drop some knowledge on yo ass. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_1973

Read it. Comprehend it.

Also I'm sick of hearing that Obama can't do anything.. That is a pretty lame argument. He is the President of the US military. He can do almost anything
What doesn't make sense is why you are singling out acts of war all of a sudden... it's barely even on topic... gosh this is embarrassing.

Re: The Way I See It

Reso so you admit that the UN is more powerful than your constitution and your sovereignty. This is getting funnier by the second.

Reso are you a dis info agent?

I singled out acts of war because I don't like children getting murdered.

Seems like a deflection from the conversation.

#1561623Post 45 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

this whole conversation has gone sideways. I started this thread off as a prediction of things to come. Then it turned into Black Jesus. Then it turned into Obama is a great President. Then I wanted to correct those incorrect statements.

I still do believe there will be a race war in the US eventually. But not all races. Just whites vs. blacks.

Do you even have a clue how the UN works?

Yes The real question here; Do you have a clue how your country works?

Ah so international law was followed regarding Libya, but Obama is still personally the only one responsible for making a decision decision to invade. Got it.

Re: The Way I See It

hahahaha

he can't go to war without congress.. Period.

That is the law of his land. International law is nothing more than the formation of a global community with a one world government, with a one world currency, with a one world religion, and a High Emperor as the ruler of all men.

You are confused like normal.

Re: The Way I See It

History will reveal who really didn't have a clue. I'm happy to have moved right next door to a town that voted to expel the UN from its jurisdiction. I'll be glad to join them in the fight should/when the time comes.

#1561640Post 52 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

Judging by the posts, it figures the UN is sanctioning a N.W.O who will be enforced and governed by the U.S, which in prior erupted by a election of a Black president thus leading to horrific civil wars amongst skin colours in the land of liberty and prosperity; the United states of America.

So, am I close?

#1561642Post 53 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

Since you are on the exact opposite side of the world and can't see whats happening, I'll give you a pass about not having a clue about the lack of horific civil wars happening in the streets. Saddening isn't it?

#1565136Post 54 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

The catalyst to set it off is a closer reality than you're admitting. Hyperinflation and the final destruction of the dollar is all it would take to ignite such a civil war. Dear leader would have a much harder time getting away with continuing to blame Bush at that point. History is ripe with tyranny taking over when a country's means of buying and selling is intentionally (or otherwise) destroyed.

I know you are disappointed we ain't risin' up to take down the man in the White House but thats the way it is. You don't realize how apathetic and lazy 98% of the 99% are.

Re: The Way I See It

After all of this European fiscal dramas, I think the spotlight will be back on the U.S, which calls for some interesting times both economically and politically. I personally am a little less more than sceptical on this race wars counter fiction. I think Americans are a little more civilised and culturally accepting than, lets say 1861?

When Mr. Obama got into power I was more concerned that he would have been sniped down by some nut case white supremacist. Yes, this may have led to racial tensions, but just by electing a Black president? It seems a little far-fetched.

For this upcoming election I have no care at all. As long as Rick Perry doesn't get an inauguration, I'll sleep a happy man.

Re: The Way I See It

I think the race issue has passed for the majority of the country, it isn't an issue anymore imo. The Greek PM stepping down is going to be interesting...

Which some people might say is a tremendous leap forward for our country and a beautiful thing. Others will quietly scoff under their breath at my comment after reading it.

Re: The Way I See It

Yup. I think that type of racism is for the majority of America a thing of the past. Note I'm not saying this is everyone.

#1565242Post 61 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

The only thing keeping racism alive is the media. I think the majority of Americans have put it behind them.

Yeah I better hope so.

But I still wonder what type of racial division that RM keeps talking about. It just does not comprehend to me. Yes not everyone is a Neo Nazi these days then why would the masses be upset if a black president becomes elect?

RM would you care to explain?
Which some people might say is a tremendous leap forward for our country and a beautiful thing. This toxic rhetoric where if you don't agree with the Pres (or the liberal plantation mindset that has created generations of easy votes) or the direction he's leading the country, you must be racist, stinks.

That's interesting that's what you took away from my post. It wasn't what I saying at all.

Re: The Way I See It

All I'm highlighting is the 1 step forward, 2 steps back mentality exhibited by certain aforementioned tools of propaganda. That's what makes me scoff.

Re: The Way I See It

Vinnie... I wonder if your level of disdain for Obama is as high as mine is for Herman Cain ?

#1565357Post 67 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

The way I see it Illuminate is that the US is nothing like Australia. Americans are very aggressive yet very nice people. I think that (Again just MO) the elite are playing a practical joke on the US. I think they brought in Obama to put the nail in the coffin. This will cause division between races/parties/and people that voted for Obama. I don't believe that racism is behind us. If anything, history has taught us that humans rarely learn anything. If anything these things go in cycles. Right now people are out of work with the majority being African Americans. Eventually they will lash out when the food stamps are cut. And Obama cut the food stamps out of the budget (not sure if its next year or 2013) to pay for the bailouts.

This is the reason why. Not because Neo Nazis are on the rise or skinheads are making a comeback. But poor people (blacks) will lash out when they are hungry. And I can't really blame them either.

It's whatever serves their argument for the moment.

Re: The Way I See It

So, we have white people angry at a black president who failed to act on what he rightfully proclaimed in his circus show of a campaign back in 2008, on the the other side we have poor, and the majority of unemployed Americans (being African Americans) who are angry because they have no jobs and their food tokens are being taken away by the same man that they thought who was Jesus.

Well where's the division? If they're both angry at Obama why would they be angry at each other?

#1565415Post 71 of 97

Re: The Way I See It

They aren't. I live here, and also in reality. There isn't a race war going on.

Nearly 50 million people are poor! Over twice the population of Canada is living in poverty in your country. You act like it's nothing. Well I have news for ya. 50 million people with no food and guns is a big deal.

It is a major problem. Crime rates have decreased over the years, but poverty has sharply risen. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7374348n&tag=mncol;lst;3

Re: The Way I See It
poverty
Think about that for a second. Our definition of poverty is housing with electricity, air conditioning, cable tv and internet, food, spending money, health care, and quite possibly a vehicle. That's hardly poverty.

This is poverty

When the people, whose food stamp budget gets cut back, start living like this, then we'll talk.
