Re: The Way I See It
Wow, our views are so very, very different. There's not one thing I could say, fact or opinion, that would make you understand or change your mind; and vice versa. Sometimes I wonder why I get involved in political discussions. Like I'm going to change someone's view who opposes my political views. Believe what you want to I guess. There's definitely two sides to every story. Who says I'm right because it's what I believe.
Not sure why I'm continuing, but ah, fuck it. Here goes.
My view on Obama is he had a Democratic House and Senate his first 2 years in office. They approved any and everything he wanted. They approved his "milestone" Obamacare. Why he thought the government could defy the constitution and force Americans to buy insurance or be financially penalized is beyond me. However, his administration approved it. He then spent trillions of dollars to "boost" the economy. Actual results were no improvement at all; It's actually gotten worse. Because of this, the mainstream liberal Obama supporting media has purposely created an ever widening gap between the wealthy and poor, whites and "minorities" (I fucking hate that word by the way), upper class to middle class to lower class. It's gotten so bad, people are protesting in the streets about wealth redistribution and how the rich need to be increasingly taxed so the government will give them more without working for it or earning it. (I do understand that some of the protests started because of the huge bailouts on wallstreet and that shit should definitely stop) However, Obama created and approved the largest bailouts in history (example solyndra), but no one is protesting him. Why?
The Republican Senate is now opposing Obama's bills, because they will fail... again, and increase our country's debt. They also know it's not the taxpaying (I know, some of them don't pay taxes and they definitely shout) rich Americans fault our country is in the shitter. How dare they earn more money than somebody else. If you would pay attention, you would see Republicans have proposed their own Jobs bills that the democratic house has rejected. Why, because it's a Republican bill to boost the economy that doesn't increase taxes on the rich.
It's time to stop blaming Bush for our country's economic issues. Yes he started 2 wars. One was over the largest terrorist attack America had ever experienced, so it was kinda justified. The other however was over what his administration advised him to do. Track down weapons of mass destruction in a terrorist county, which we now know didn't exist. Those wars eventually became so costly our economy started to take a nosedive during his last year as president. Obama inherited a country in debt. If democrats truly wanted to fix the economy and not run it into the ground like it is today, they had ample opportunity to do so during the first 2 years. Every economic boost his administration has put in place has failed miserably. It's time to start putting blame where blame is due.
Res, your Black Jesus comment is kinda ridiculous. You're actually proving my point by saying things like that.
On Cain keeping our troops in war. If you would actually listen to what he said and not what the media is saying he said, you would hear that he would listen to the military advisers that are commanding our troops in war. If they advised him to keep our troops there, he would keep our troops there. If anyone knows what's best to do for our military in war, it's the military. After all they are the one's actually fighting.
Now..... it's 3:30 in the morning, and I've been doing a little drinking. I'm gonna stop ranting and hit the sack. Ya'll have a good night.
