In some ways I feel glad for him that his sad tortured life is over.

Enormous talent but I couldn't forget the things he did.

This:RockOn: Children are a little safer tonight. Maybe he was acquitted in a court of law but the dude admitted to enjoying sleeping with young children. It's also being said he had a pretty heavy prescription drug addiction. His talent and musical contribution are un-questioned for sure.

Re: Bloody hell - Wacko Jacko is dead :(

amazing how his death has taken over the air waves. I would say it is a bigger death than Elivis' death. It proves his impact in the 80s over shadows his issues in the 2000s. As a kid when thriller came out, the world was in awe. revolutionary and amazing. Billie Jean is my fav of his tunes.

Its funny, with all of his recent legal issues, they are all irrelevant. He is an icon, and the death of someone with that status will hit everyone weather you are a fan or not.

Re: Bloody hell - Wacko Jacko is dead :(

Being in the child protection unit in the South African Police Service for 5 years I saw the roll on effect of abused children going on to abuse other children. It has far reaching consequences many years into the future. Lets hope the legacy of "alleged abuse to children" stops now with his death!

Excellent musician Poor human being!

Why though? Its not as if he is a close friend of mine.

His music was great but for me its tarnished by the stuff that happened in his personal life. He was some character alright

He is getting respect for what he deserves, his musical talents.

he was a pedophile - he abused young boys who couldn't defend themselves -

are you actually advocating in favor of child sexual abuse?

Nico007 comments sums it up really.

^ ^^ I have to say this, you are in denial if you think he didn't have at the very least an unusual relationship with young boys. Unfortunately being massively talented does not mean you are a wonderful person. He was very deeply troubled. Look what he did to himself.

I believe it is more respectful to acknowledge the whole of a person rather than pretend .

Re: Bloody hell - Wacko Jacko is dead :(

Just heard the news, was thinking how weird - 3rd celeb to go in tow.

Excellent musician. I am not condoning anything he did or did not do however, I can't imagine being as famous as MJ and not having a screwed up life... the guy did not have a normal childhood... I guess its the price to pay for fame... I just hope that he had a good death, he seems better off dead anyway (and I don't mean this in a bad way).. he has lived a tormented life and now he's onto a better place.

RIP MJ.

Well yes he was deeply troubled and i don't deny it. Yes he loved Children that does not mean he did anything with them. I love Dogs and i love my 2 labs i give them hugs and kisses all the time does not mean i have done anything with them. The wonderland thing is because he did not have the "NORMAL" childhood when he was young. Now that he has all this money he can do what he wants with it. In regards with his plastic surgery did he not have something done because he had a card accident or something? then it all fell apart. People get it done all the time. There is somethings i dont like about myself and if i did have the money yeah i would do the same. That does not make me any worse. Yes he did do some crazy things eg hang the baby out the window but people do crazy things all the time. It's only becuase it is Michael Jackson that people stand up and notice and Jealousy is such a evil thing.

I just feel really sad and sorry for him. I could tell by watching interviews with him he was a Kind loving person. RIP Michael you are in a better place now.

Anyway i am gonna go to bed. Good Night all and will be back tomorrow ;)

A bloke I used to work with (Rambo, he was a real shoot up town and get a loaf of bread guy) used to have this strange obsession with Michael Jackson. He used to talk about what he would do if he had managed to kidnap MJ and how he would keep him tied up in his shed and do all sorts of despicable acts to him. He used to talk about it on a daily basis for years.

Big fucken deal. Guess what i have a room filled with vinyl records and it is a dark room so does that make me creepy? You know he did not have the ideal childhood and people collect all kinds of things. You are looking at it like that because the media has made you believe it. He can have a room of Barbie dolls for all it matters. DIDI in regards with the jealous thing i mean MONEY, not his life. ANyway they have a special on rage tonight which i will record and post on here. Night :)

well, since michael jackson was 99% plastic, he'll be melted down and molded into legos -- so that children can play with him for a change!
