Thanx Garrick, but solved it, just in time I think...it should still be in time, even though it's not the one I did for the contest. Great fun when cooledit cooks it somehow...so I sent in another one that's a little older. Hope they still like it, though...

Heehee, I know what you mean. Though it's weird, I listened to the mix a second and third time and it's a little better, I just really don't like the last mix, it was clean, but I'd never mixed the track before so it felt weird. We'll see. :rideme:

Maybe because you try to log in without using the login [email]anonymous@mercurynation.com[/email] and your Email addy as password?

I get in initially.... but when i move my zip folder onto the folder. The login window comes up again saying "Either server does not allow anonymous logins or email address was not accepted"

The upload account does not include moving rights to avoid any mess he he :P . It would have worked if you upped the zip file directly in the directory which you created. I just looked on the FTP and saw a 13 MB file from you..try to resume your upload or choose a different name and up your mix again please.

for some reason, I keep getting around 91MB in size for that range @ 192...I think I finally went back and trimmed off enough to get it down to the 90MB requirement :?

No matter what they think of it...the mix I sent in was not the one I did for the contest, but been listening to it on the train this evening, and actually it wasn't all that bad, except for one mistake...Got Nelly Furtado on now, with Explode. Good stuff to start your morning with.

Oh well live and learn; round 2 should be 95MB on the requirement as a 70-minute mix is just near that point at a 192 bitrate (unless you all were using a totally different encoder and settings then I was)

I usually mix between 70 - 80 mins. Gives a nicer build-up in the set, take the time to take em higher.
sure if you only spin 8-10 records in a mix :P
