I submitted a smaller, trimmed "Back-up mix" earlier tonight in case there is a size issue with the 69:50 min mix that I previously submitted...just for the sake of insurance :D I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could confirm that it's all good.

We have received your mix completely. Don't worry about size issues because we rejected no mixes because of the size.

Thanks for this special offer Grant and we are sure this will help the winners to get a better exposure. The contest is closed now and over the next days the [ms] team will continue to listen and judge the mixes we received. After the 10th November the best three mixes will be announced and the winner sets will be hosted here.

Did you check your PM, FM? I saw your mix when it was about 89 MB and wanted to grab it...next thing I saw that it was overwritten and had 4 mb again. :shock: Now it's 65 MB so please let it be the last time you up it. And just to put more salt in your wounds...hardly nobody else had a problem with uploading their mixes and we got a shitload of them. :lol:

I won' spoil the exact number of submissions yet...maybe we announce it when we present the winners. We have more than 50% of the sets since nearly two weeks so we already started to listen to them and yes it's very time consuming but we started the contest so we will dig through the mixes. I am so behind with the music I listen normally to but the majority of sets we received were really worth it so thanks to everybody who joined the contest. :bow down:

I hope mine wins.

Tru, it usually takes me a couple times throught to feel the set, mine is ok except for the last mix. It was tight but it needed a little tweeking...good luck dude!

Save my last euro for a pair of techs, becuz mixing with my Gemini's is not mixing, but fighting against the rythm running away from you everytime you turn your back at the decks. Did my thing in public on techs...flawless. Do the same thing on my own Diesellocs, and man I'm getting green with frustration :Wasted: and red with anger. :lickmyha:

sorry yao... i've played on those many of times and i can't do shit on them. they are way too sensitive to the touch. maybe if i learned on them, it'd be different. since i bought technics, i can't use anything else :P

I tried downloading your Nov Set.... Link didnt work.

My friend has Geminis so I have used them alot... just learn to mix without touching the platter, use pitch slider for everything. and move the slider more softly, the acceleration isn't as forgiving as on the Techs.

Right now it looks more like we will announce the winners tomorrow because we received a lot of mixes to listen to and some of us are still listening to a few mixes they have not heard yet so everybody who invested time in submitting a mix has the same chance to win. As soon as we are done we will post the winners here and next week the three best sets will be hosted.
