Aldous Huxley- Brave New World.. very real book.. when the book was written in the early 40's, the ideas in place for cloning were all too far fetched.. i tell ya, Huxley must of took a trip into the future, because back then cloning wasn't even much of a thought much less a possibility...

Finished 'G33k Mafia' and loved the story. First book that I know released under the Creative Commons Licence, so that mean you can have it for free [url=http://rickdakan.com/download.htm]here[/url]. Or you can have a paper version via the [url="http://www.eff.org]EFF[/url] website for 10 USD. A sequel also exist, G33k Mafia - Miles Zero. Also available for free.

if you really wanna learn about the nature of music, or more to the point the nature IN music. You'll wanna read Victor Wooten's book, "The Music Lesson...A spiritual search for growth through music" Such an amazing book about what you would never learn in a music class and what is so essential to learning about music. This book is for the beginner as well as the seasoned professional.

Wow that must be before he started on the epic fantasy stuff.
I'm reading Charles Stross' Halting State. A near-future novel about a bank heist in a game like WOW. Difficult to read because it's written in 2nd person so it feels like you're in Penthouse Letters without the sex.

just finished [I]A Short History of Nearly Everything [/I]by Bill Bryson. Fantastic book, could not put it down. Highly recommended.
Just starting [I]Shakespear: The World as a Stage[/I] again by Bill Bryson. I'm only 30 pages in, but I think I've found a new favorite author...

I can't say that reading 1984 was real nice, that was a bit of a mind fuck, but it gives you something to think about non the less. I just don't want to think about it too much. ;)
