wow they announced the dates really early this year. usually the don't make the cal until december.

last year i messed up, i forgot my helmet.

When does Bedrock typically get around to announcing what their plans are? December? February? Or, will it be around mid-March?

April I think.

No doubt I will be there since I now live 30 minutes from Miami. It will be my third year in a row. Cant wait till March.

Clubplanet has a great WMC messageboard every year. It always has good info and a ton of parties are always announced there as well.

kinda sucks it isnt during spring break this year. you guys think the clubs will be going off the weekend prior to the conference, or after? i'm hoping before.

most likely both.. I think I am going to try get there the sunday before (20th), and stay the week. plus look for clubs near by, in tampa and orlando to have some shows close to WMC.. thats when sasha was in Tampa for the second time this year.. the week or so before WMC

the last time Diggerz played in Tampa was 3 days after the WMC. He played at The Rubb in Ybor and he freakin ROCKED that place!!!

I hope you are kidding! Last year was horrible with all the Jersey, Yorkers there on Spring Break. Glad us music lovers have our own week this year.

i dont really care about the jersey's or yorkers. i was glad my girlfriend could go cos of her spring break. looks like she'll be missing a couple classes in '05. no way in hell we're missing wmc next year. and you can take that to the bank. :Bingo:

Fuck me that was a long time ago, they renamed The Rubb what...5 years ago? I think the last time Digweed was in Central Florida was @ Icon in April '03. The Pope played a wickedly dark set that night.

its cool you guys were at the rubb for that party. Friday March 19, 1999. i remember the dates perfect cos we saw him in tampa that night, and drove to atlanta the next day to see him play there. 2 incredible nights of 2 incredibly different sounds. digweed is king!

I've been smiling my head off since I heard this. My 5th year going and I get as excited (if not more) as though it's my 1st time.

Hoping to get there the weekend before and take a few days to relax before the madness begins.

just a heads up to the WMC virgins....it's all about the day parties.

The nights are a fucking mad house and you end up waiting in line forever. But the day parties are spread out all over the island, are usually free, and give you a chance to actually hang out and talk to some of the top jocks and up-and-comers.

oh....and there are usually tons of chicks in bakinis. :D

and WMC NOOBS.. fuck ultra.. dont waste your money or time

not true.... the ultra is pretty cool it gives you a a chance to sample many different djs and different sounds in one day .. i missed it last year because i partied the night off the day before...but ill try to make it this year or maybe ill make it to space fest.... the night parties are were you really get to experience the club vibe and the djs ...granted they are madhouses (my girlfriend almost had her bigtoe broken by some fat f#@$) it's still a great experience... i havent bee able to make it to many day parties but this year i will....

my advice to WMC noobs.... go to as many day parties, clubs and festivals as you can..... its a great experience and you can always sleep on the plane !!!!!

Agreed. Went my first year and have never had any desire to go back. I would rather see 1-2 people for 5-6 hours that 20 people for .5-1 hour each. Plus they put some crap up on the main stage!!!! Except S&D, of course, I heard they went off on the main stage last year. I saw them at Mansion later that night so I don't feel that bad. :D
