Yeah i am happy for England that they got through but the match was boring. Seemed to have reignited some confidence back in the english squad, we'll see how they do if they face Germany though.

It's amazing how we can go from so shit to very good. The chances we created, we could have been 4 nil up. I thought even though Gerrard was out of position he played very well.

Italy really need to win though, if they draw and NZ somehow eek out a draw or win against Paraguay.. if they both draw with the same scoreline, I think the tie breakers are all even which would bring it down to picking a ball out of a bin to see who goes through you may say it's not possible, but in this WC we've all learned anything is possible, like NZ getting a point against Italy ;)
