Congrats to Portugal for the highest Win of a Game in the tournament so far. :partypeople: Chile has just scored against Switzerland..we' ll see if they can keep the lead till the end. I hear the clock ticking and am so nervous about our Wednesday Game...Group D is far too close together and everything is still possible. If Germany fails in the Group rounds, yellow press will be all over us for weeks. I already see the Sun headline(s) for it. Germany, pointing with the finger and WW2 steel helmets will be involved. :lol:

big names are against the ropes, england and germany should pull it off, france is going back with nothing but troubles, no african team will make past the 1st round, groups are pretty much open,
now we have 2 games at a time to finish the first round, should be interesting

south america unbeaten, yeah, I'd say pretty well, and the only loss for central america is honduras losing twice :)

I´ve got a weird feeling South Africa will go through.

I don´t like the french, but there have been some dubious decisions against them in this game. With FIFA you never know, I´ll never forget South Korea in WC2002.

I thought I saw a penalty against SA go unmarked earlier on...

Oh, and one minute and a half delay in the start of the South Africa-France 2nd half relating to the Uruguay-Mexico game. FIFA usually doesn´t allow these things to happen.

what's a minute and half delay going to do? Mexico know they need at least a tie to keep their second round hopes in tueir own hands and RSA need at least 2 more goals

Ah well, maybe I´m paranoid ever since that South Korean World Cup...

The French deserve all that theyére getting, that´s for sure, but I´d rather see Mexico than RSA go through, because they´re the better team IMO.

Congrats to Argentina for winning all 3 group round Games. Today it's up to us....am nervous and can't wait for the Game to start. This will be a short and unproductive day at work...thanks God for most of my colleagues including my boss it will be the same. :)
