I know, i was down in the dumps after blowing the 7 run lead....I even won the lottery and could of went to game 7, but decided not to buy tix bcuz i really thought they were going to blow it.

but since the phillies were sitting for 7 days and the rays only 2, i truly believe that affects the players sitting that long.

1. Hamels is a tremendous pitcher, a true ace imo

2. Pena was safe, it was a balk

3. Victorino was out, Bartlett had the bag blocked

4. Kaz is SHITE with runners on base, he cant get out of his own head

5. the Rays need to get to Lidge soon to rock his confidence or else

the next three pitching match ups deffo favour the Rays :)

Hamels is beatable as the Rays were starting to figure him out in game 1 just as he was being taken out of the game, just hope Kaz has a better game than he did in game 1.

I am sorry but that was the worst umpiring I have ever seen...Obviously the umpire calling balls and strikes is all for the phillies and is totally against the rays....

The fox commentators even couldnt believe some of the calls he was making.....

i liked the little video montage they put together of blown calls..

they have gone both ways, but it seems more have gone against the Rays.. and yeah when Buck and McCarver are noticing and talking about it, it's pretty bad... but we've over come that shit all season

all depends on where you want to sit...upper deck were going for just over 100 dollars a ticket which is just about face value....

my seats were upper deck nose bleeds but they still were not too bad. u could see the whole field real well...my only complaint was the sound was bad....and they climb to the seats was a workout.

it is expensive but its the world series. and who knows if they will ever get back to this point again. if you shop around u shouldnt have to pay too much more then face value. most of the scalpers are hangin around Fergs.

I would have to disagree a bit there, the series was great until the fucking weather debacle, lol.. very anti climactic at the end unfortunately, but I couldnt even be mad or upset the Rays lost.

The Phillies deserved it, had an answer to everything the Rays did, excellent scouting AND not only that but being able to apply it..it was probably somewhat helpful that one of their scouts is the former Rays GM, but still, you can scout a team all you want, if you cant execute it means fuck all... congrats to them!

hell of a season for Tampa. I have a feeling that after the battle to win the division then go through Chicago, then the 7 game series against Boston (none of which were meant to happen) really took the emotional wind out of their sails. But to be honest at the beginning of the season if someone had said the Rays will finish above .500 I would have had a hard time believing it. It will be very interesting to see how next season plays out in the AL East.. you know NY and Boston will be revamping big time, NY more so than Boston, plus the way Toronto came on at the end of the season.

I'm definitely going to some games next year =)
