NLCS and a little ALCS

Has anybody seen what Carlos Beltran is doing in baseball right now.. I am starting a new one because baseball playoffs is to much of a pain to get because of too many posts (can't read what everybody said).. Back to NLCS.. Carlos is maybe the best hitter ever created.. 8 homeruns in 9 games!! that is unthinkable.. As for St. Louis Pujols is a machine. Hitting .640 with a few homeruns this series. It seems that when these two guys come to the plate something is going to happen.. If u haven't watched yet you have to start.. baseball history is being made every night.. As for the ALCS or lack there of.. Boston is trying to get back in it but i don't believe they can beat the yanks 3 more times.. Especially with loser pedro on the team.. If i was the team owner i would sit him for the rest of the year and send him home..

pujols destroyed that ball in the first inning yesterday. i really like him, hope the yankees pick him up someday. glad houston came back though. i dont really wanna watch a sweep series. although i thought that would happen with the alcs. glad to see the red sox win one. it will make killing them in game 5 tonight that much more bitter to them. HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa

go yankees!

the funniest thing will be when pedro pitches for the yanks next year at fenway and throws a shutout. :ChatterB: :ChatterB: :ChatterB:

My prediction:

Is that Steinbrenner makes the mistake next year and signs pedro. First of all they should go for young guns like Josh Beckett in florida instead of pedro.. But back to my prediction.. Pedro pitches next year and again both teams make it to the ALCS. To break the curse pedro pitches at yankee stadium in game 7 or 5 and gives up a game winning bomb to manny. hat would be great for baseball.. Pedro is a cancer of a team and should die a horrible death...

Re: NLCS and a little ALCS

i actually watched the Astros/Cardinals game yesterday and it was pretty good game,i dont watch much baseball so forgive me with the names and such, but that 7th inning when that Cardinals pitcher almost had a meltdown was fun to watch, i think i like the Astros in this one. :Smiling:

Re: NLCS and a little ALCS

To my knowledge, Pedro's contract is up, and i'd bet that especially after his "Yanks are my daddy" comment, he won't be back in Boston next year. That's a huge salary they can put in other places.

While i would have been glad to see an NLCS sweep, i knew it was unlikely. Oswald didn't impress me one bit, Lidge is a major cocksucker tho. Damn, we can't hit that fucker to save our lives. So we have to get our runs early, because i imagine for the rest of the series Lidge is coming in to finish off the last two innings.

Pujols is a fucking machine. Period. Best player in baseball imo, and he's broken a shit ton of records his for his first 4 years in the league. If he stays healthy, he will go down as one of the best. Like Beltran (who i curse at every at bat) he is capable of just sticking his bat out there and it goes 450ft. Effortless hitting.

Reggie Sanders is the worst hitter i've seen in this series. Must be a concrete bat because it never leaves his shoulders, and if it does, it's late.

Rolen, needs to step it up imo. RBI machine, well, let's start seeing it. Lidge has him stoned every time he faces him. Rolen's defense however is stellar. Some of his plays from third to first are mind blowing. Taking away a hit is just as good as getting one, and Rolen has taken away quite a few in these playoffs.

Larry Walker, Holy Jesus, what a ball player. And that bone white fatty can run the bases too. Majorly impressed what he's doing at his age. Best pick up of the year in baseball imo. WOW. And a Canadian to boot, who would have guessed?

NLCS is the World series imo. The ALCS is a joke, Regardless tho, this is the best baseball playoffs i've seen in awhile. Go Cards!

these playoffs HAVE been great. ive been taking time off work when i can to watch these games. gonna hit record on the vcr tonight before i walk out the door, but hopefully i can come home to see my boys spank the sox dirty! :Naughty:

hahaha, considering they don't have the pitching at all to come back i don't see that happening. not to mention (i might be wrong) nobody has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit. if the cards win against the stros, i wouldn't mind seeing cards and boston.... but i want a fucking piece of the yankees if the astros win.

ahh, that's what that noise is. lol Come though, wouldnt it be cool to see a team finally come back from 3-0 down, and win. AND have it happen during this type of rivalry series?

#282140Post 14 of 87

i'd love to see the look on steinbrenner's face, thats for sure.

Re: NLCS and a little ALCS

I was at Fenway last night... What a monster of a game. I would love to think that the sox could carry some of that momentum into winning the next 3 games... But I will not hold my breath. As far as last nights game... The place was juiced right up til' 1:30am when David crushed that homer!!!

Go SOX!!!

#282242Post 19 of 87

DAMN!!

Rolen, play at third, from his knees, took out bagwell at first.

#282243Post 20 of 87

since i'm on my laptop, i'm going play by play here, talking to myself, so anyone watching, feel free to chime in. lol.

#282244Post 21 of 87

this sox yankees games is pretty intersting.. looks like a game 6 is in the cards tomorrow.. and then who knows.. i think they said shilling might pitch.. Sheffield should have kept his mouth shut. why do these atheltes run their mouths , it is so funny to see them look like idiots after they say stupid things.

#282252Post 22 of 87

Shilling, lmao.

he's going to get smacked up if he pitches again with his bum ankle.

Can we get a goddamn hit in this Cards/Stros game. FFS!

#282259Post 23 of 87

quoting Bob Uker here from Major League...

"One hit? is that all we got, One goddamn hit?"

Two SIKKKK offenses, and only one freaking hit.

#282260Post 24 of 87

just got a hit didnt you?

i bet there are some pissed off people. how can they show both games on the same time on the same bloody network? that makes no fucking sense to me.

#282262Post 25 of 87

curse the scheduling of this shit. wtf?

oh great, here comes Beltran, with all the money he makes, you'd think he'd pay a rat to chew that fucking mole off his face.

oh SIKKK play at first by Pujols!!!!!

#282270Post 26 of 87

great pitching in this game, god damn... down to last three outs for the astros hopefully!

#282274Post 27 of 87

i fucking hate carlos beltran.

more than that tho, the announcers who constantly finger his butthole. why don't they just pause the game and go suck his cock. ffs.

it's the same shirt that filthy whore wore the last three games. bet she didn't even wash it.

damn, i'm pouring a shot. FUCK!

#282281Post 34 of 87

thats phil garner's wife... hahaha. she looks like a witch.

#282296Post 35 of 87

why is she relavant enough to show her mug every third pitch?

#282308Post 36 of 87

Re: NLCS and a little ALCS

I still think the cards will win the series.

As for the Yankees , i dont think they will

#282395Post 37 of 87

Holy shit what a game by the astros!!! Was in high school in Houston when we went down against the Mets in one of the best postseason series of all time, but that team has nothing on these beasts. BELTRAN, CLEMENS, LIDGE, KENT FUCKING RULE! (sorry jenks, hope that shot took some of the edge off that home run, he he he HA!)

This turning out to be a CLASSIC match-up. The Cardinals are oozing class from top to bottom and have amazing skills in every position, not to mention the best skipper in baseball, but the Astros have this intangible fire right now that makes them lethal. There's no question they've been the best team in baseball for the latter 3rd of the season.

Now back to St. Loius. Betting against the Astros at home is going to make you a pauper pretty quick, but now we need to see if they can do it away.

The big question is whether Garner pitches Clemens on short rest. I would say no. He barely had it the last time he pitched on little rest. I don't think there's any way he'll be able to go 7 innings. I say go with Clemens in game 7. If he can pitch 7 solid innings, then the cardinals are fucked, because no way is Lidge going to watch the 8th inning from the bullpen!

So what do you think Jenks? Do you want to see Clemes in 6, and have our 20-game winner who didn't look so hot yesterday in a potential game 7? Or do you fear Clemens with a chance to end it now?

#282401Post 38 of 87

Re: NLCS and a little ALCS

You couldn't ask for two better baseball games last evening. I think it's the first time that I can remember sitting on the edge of the seat while watching a fucking baseball game and my team isn't even in it (Orioles). I hope the world series is just as exciting.

#282403Post 39 of 87

cards shouldn't fear anything... they have yet to lose at home either. cards will have a tough time facing clemens, but thats not to say they won't light him up. tough road ahead for both teams. consider the winner the world champs.

#282427Post 40 of 87
why is she relavant enough to show her mug every third pitch?
most likely the same reason they kept showing Kurt Warners creepy looking wife throughout his wonder years. To show the wife supporting her hubby. pointless I think.
