They are playing in one of the weakest divisions in the league. They're good, but they're not the best.

They may not be the best at the end of the year but at the moment they are absolutely the best in baseball, all cylinders are firing right now.

AL west is what the NL east was 4 years ago. one team good, 4 teams really shitty. they are beating up on no one, the athletics essentially quit in may, and there isnt any one else.

no. the cubs are the absolute best in baseball right now, as much as i hate to admit it. they're playing in one of the toughest divisions in baseball (so odd i'm saying that about the NL central, who knew?) and mowing down top notch opposition not only regularly, but with an exclamation mark.

that Rays game last night was fun to watch.. seems no matter who goes down with injury someone steps up.. who would have thought the bull pen and depth would have been the Rays stronger points this season.
