cuz tonight, while watching the yanks take 8 in a row, and switching to the mets losing again (they are in a serious slump, losing like 10 of 13 right now) i flip over to baseball tonight just in time to see them flip over to justin verlanders mark on history, a no hittier. looks like JV was simply fasball dominant. good K count, lots ground balls to the infeild. awesome. i love this game. everyday , there are at least 4 games. can u ask for more?

Angels up 4 - 1 in the 4th, then Astros had a five run inning, I believe, in the 5th, then Astros scored three more in the 6th and then fans were saying "fuck it" and started rolling out. Next inning, Angels got five. Bottom of the ninth, dude on 1st base, two outs and I believe it was a 2 -2 count and a then two foul balls followed by a line drive to the right field corner. Fucking amazing.

@ sightless - i hate to admit, but roger clemens looked strong as shit out ther a couple nights ago for his 350th W. i was really really impressed. he did that for the astros time and time again and they just never hit for him. glad to see the bats clickin for that victory. a fucking 2-hitter in 8 innings by the rocket. that's sick pitching.

Vlad is a throwback. All freak athelete. Doesn't even wear batting gloves. lol. And that swing!! holy crap! his entire torso looks like it's going to go into orbit. When you talk about big superstar hitters who have not cheated the game, there are only a handful i can honestly say 100% didn't cheat...Vlad is one of them, griffy is another, and arod. wow, tony la russa is being a dickhead to pujols for no reason. i know he's the manager for the all-star game and he can play who he wants, but why didn't he let pujols play AT ALL last night? personally, i think pujols has a right to be upset. his manager ignored him the whole game and then bashed him in the press saying "pujols can be upset if he wants to. it doesn't matter. this is america. there are more important things than the all star game." what a crock of crap... ignore him and then bash him? not the right response to your BEST player that is confused as to why he didn't get to play. hopefully they will both start acting like grownups soon and carry on....
