Finally, the Broncos are getting the respect they deserve. They are now picked to win the Super Bowl
Damn Pats & Damn Refs. The NFL needs to allow stickem sprayed on the players gloves. The Pats could've used it last night.3 fumbles recovered by the Broncos.oi and that 39 yard penatly against Asanti Samuel was complete Bunk.Oh and the fumble at the goal line by the Broncos should have went down Pats ball at the 20.I can sit her and make all the excuses I want.Bottom line is the Broncos were the better team last night.Say what you will about the Pats.3 superbowl rings 2 back 2 back.Dynasty accomplished. They'll just have to restart it ll again next season.
the interference call on samuel was bunk, that i give you, but the goal line fumble looked out of bounds before the endzone, and there was absolutely no way to give it otherwise, if you think it looked more like it went out the endzone, that is because you are biased, which i would be too had it been the seahawks.

as you said though, dynasty accomplished, they'll be back :)

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

I bet a lot of people lost money on the AFC games yesterday. Everyone was picking Indy and the Pats to play for the championship next weekend. I'm not a Pats fan, but I hated seeing them get beat on 5 turnovers in the game. And Peyton and the Colts besides being helped by poor officiating found a way to disappoint their fans again.

I'm really impressed with the Panthers and Steelers though. They travelled again to places they weren't supposed to win and won.

I'm glad I'm not betting on these games because I'm not sure who'll win, but my gut instinct picks the Broncos and Panthers to win.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

Hawks played like a team and still won. They really had one of ruff'est starts to a game. and still were able to pull it off. Den and Pit are two great contending teams. I am actually happy everyone that made to the afc, nfc champs. Gonna be a good weekend to watch some football. Hawks and Denver in the Final. That is going to be my guess. Of course it is the playoffs and anything and everything can happen.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

^^^ me too. Out of all those teams I really think they deserve it. It was a great game to watch, and I really would hate to play in Seattle this weekend. The loudest stadium in the NFL right now.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

thing about the seahawks is, they have pretty much always been garbage until now. I dont think hasselback is a big game quarterback. He's great, but not a big game qb.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

I think he stepped up the last game very well. He ran a TD, and Jackson also got some big ball plays. That's the thing. The hawks are a team. With or without Alexander they can win games. That only adds to their motion.

It's really going to be who wants it the most. I really think so. Like I said it's going to be a wonderful weekend of football. I all ready have a 12 pack on ice.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

thats what im saying man, i was discussing this exact same thing w/ my friend earlier, vick, mcnabb are both great quarterbacks, they can run the ball as well as throw well. But they arnt big game quarterbacks, thats the key. Farve, Brady, are examples of big game quarterbacks. Notice how far the eagles, and the falcons have got. Hasselback needs to prove himself more imo.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

Steelers and Seattle are my picks... There's no way on earth the Broncos can win if they play the way they played on offense against NE. Say what you want but 21 points came on a grand total of 17 yards of offense and all off of NE turnovers. The Broncos had only 286 yards of offense against a defense no where near as good as Pittsburgh.

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

the steelers should have lost that game, seriously. they needed to feel the consequences from that fumble.

Ah man.... come on now... AFC North representin yo. If it isn't "Who Dey" (Nice to be even able to type that without people laughing hysterically now) then it's going to be the Steelers. Helps that I also got to see Big Ben play a lot of college ball....

Like the Colts needed to feel the consequences of the bs overturned interception call....

Re: NFL Playoffs - Round 2

and that missed interference call...... if anything the steelers deserved to win by more. ;)
