Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

you could say the same thing for Tony D.

#550624Post 93 of 129

Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

Who is going to win now that the teams are in. I think the steelers have a good shot in winning. They knocked out the 1 & 2 seed of the AFC. Should be an interesting game to say the most.

Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

After seeing the 6 seeded team win 3 games on the road and the way they've won and the luck that they've had I now know why Vegas has the Steelers favored by 3 1/2.

Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

nobody gives the seahawks the credit they deserve... last week (even on tv) the only thing anyone talked about (even right towards the end of the game) was the panthers and steve smith. this week all anyone is talking about is the steelers and "big" ben... the seahawks have one of the best defences in the league and the offense is great too, i think we can cause the steelers some problems, and win the game.

Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

I think the steelers D is too good for seattle

Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

Seahawks are definitely not receiving any respect for the superbowl. If they can avoid any big turnovers I think they can get the win. I think the running game for the Seahawks in the spread offense can disrupt the Steelers blitzing and open up the passing game for them.

Seattle = 27 Steelers = 24
Seattle wont be able to run against the Steelers
What in the flying fuck are all you talking about?

A. Seattle has a super offense, mind you that team carries the MVP of the league.

B. They are the Number 1 seed that is going to the Super Bowl.

C. As much of a running game Seattle likes to play, they also have an air game.

D. Their defense is very dynamic, and very very smart.

E. Seattle is perhaps the most under-rated team in the NFL.

I do not think the Steelers have it easy, nor do I think do the Hawks. Some of guys sound as stupid as the idiots on TV. Jock Cock talk. Fucking worthless. If you look at stats, history, both teams last games, it really comes to an equal match. Both teams are playing very good, both QBs are playing excellent, and all the offensive and defensive lineman are playing with their hearts. It will be a great Super bowl, If either team gets ahead, it will be over. I think if both teams can keep turnovers down or nil, play as they have been playing, it is going to be one close mother fucking football game. That is a Super bowl I want to watch. I want the game to sway in emotions; I want to cry, yell, scream, laugh, sweat, jitter, panick, and whoo-ra for the team that plays with their hearts and gives me one fucking good Super Bowl to watch.

Final Score:

Seattle: Will be determined in Detroit Pittsburgh: Will be determined in Detroit.

Re: 2006 NFL Superbowl Predictions

ps.
Super QBs taking more control Insider By Scouts, Inc.

Why To Watch These teams are more similar than people think. They both love to run the football with excellent backs behind big and physical offensive lines. They both play solid defense. And they both have improving quarterbacks who understand their offensive systems. Both Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Hasselbeck are gaining more and more freedom from their head coaches to take the game into their hands.

Pittsburgh is the first No. 6 seed to play in the Super Bowl, and Seattle is making its first trip to the title game in the franchise's 30-year history. These teams are well-coached, and both do a superb job of not only putting together creative game plans but also making great adjustments during the game. Neither team is satisfied with just being in Detroit. They expect to win the game. Marquee players, great coaches and two hungry teams -- there's a lot to like in this matchup.
