One would assume it is a transcode and therefore worse than the original 192

I just listened to this. Whatever 'gold' this is (besides the mix), the volume levels are awful. Its just the stream recorded in 320kbs. The stream originally being either 64/96kbs, by encoding at the higher rate doesn't necessarily improve quality as it had already been compressed! It's more than just the number '320'.

In short, thanks for the upload but a bit of a waste of time. The 192kbs version in thread [url]http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32287&page=2[/url] is a better recording, and of a reasonable file size compared.

Anyways, nice attempt.
