If we go based on quality rather than quantity, my vote goes toward making a Lusine subforum instead of a Nick Warren subforum.
+1 Lusine is definitely a top notch
+1 Lusine is definitely a top notch
People who realise nick deserves his own forum are true music lovers

People who don't realise need to listen to proper music instead of listening to big name DJ's like tiesto and AVB who play music for the screaming massives

Mate you do realise you're on [ms]:lol::lol::lol:

This is stupid. Subforums should be made based on quantity and frequency of threads and sets. We have heaps of dedication threads in GYY for us to talk up our favourite DJs and producers.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

Bomba, Lusine is not in the abysmal league where Tiesto and AVB exist. You should definitely do your homework. ;)

That said, the idea of Lusine being placed within the current MS subforum lineup makes little sense either.

I might be on [ms} but it does not mean that i need to wake up I was only stating my personal opinion. Surely im allowed to do that? Or are you not allowed to on this forum?

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

A lot of you have some really great ponits, but IMO at least here in the US, Nick Warren's name is mentioned 100 times before you will hear WOW. Jody Wisternoff has essentially been to Nick Warren what Charlie May has been to Sasha. Very intstramental in their careers but just didn't carry the big names. To be honest they are probably just as good but didn't mind being the silent one. So I would be in favor of a NW sub-forum.

I'm still "getting warmed up" so i'm sure my opinion doesn't matter much, but I still give imput. So keep it coming.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren
Why outdated? Let's hear what Vinnie has to say about that.
Outdated in terms, it doesn't have the actual sets from december, so its no substitution to possible WOW subthread. In fact, sets arrive to hybridized only after everyone has already downloaded them from elsewhere.

I think, those artists who generate most hits/comments should have the subforum and those are beside the mighty 3, Nick Warren, Danny Howells and Desyn Masiello. And Luke Fair.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

It's still valid as a WOW archive though, isn't it.

Anyway, I'm afraid that if we don't shut up not only we won't see a Nick/Jody subforum, but we'll get a Deadmau5 one instead.

One for the road: judging by quality we wouldn't have a Sasha subforum either :).

Nick and Jody - a smashing idea ;)

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

Some Decembers will be going up today (Hybridized). Hard to find exclusive content these days.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

I have said it before, Nick Warren(with WOW sets too) need a home of their own. Please make a subforum for his sets...

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

Beeing popular or a good dj is not the reason we have 3 sub-forums for those particular dj's. But if you want to start a megathread go ahead.

May I ask you about Jody's Frisky show, it gets posted after three weeks at Hybridized via permission from Hope and JW himself, could we ever do the same?

As for a megathread, why not.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

p.m Kamal directly if you want an answer to that question i simply follow the rules of the site.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

Megathread, eh ;)

If all else fails, I guess we'll have to get one going 8)

Just don't forget his ambient mix  - an essential addition

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren
May I ask you about Jody's Frisky show, it gets posted after three weeks
2 weeks is the requested delay actually but that special permission only comes because the artist himself provides us with the sets (though, increasingly, we've been nabbing them from the public Hopemanagement links ). Frisky may require that of MS also.

#1312908Post 61 of 131

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

I second the Megathread idea :)

Plus the search feature works really well on [ms]

#1312912Post 62 of 131

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

There have been a few times ive searched for sets im going to post only to find nothing. Once ive posted them someone flags up that its been done already. Not been perfect for me im afraid.

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

I love Nick, he is a fantastic dj but if I need to choose a dj to make a sub.forum, that will be Danny Howells, he totally deserve it.

Yes, this would be great. Also add Jody and Dave Seaman subforums.

#1338843Post 68 of 131

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

OK, FINE! ALL YOU MFers CAN HAVE IT!

Believe it or not, but the man himself sent an email to Tom yesterday asking to be considered for his own sub-forum in P&R. I think the overwhelming response from each of you for the forum, compounded with the request (and support) from Nick, deserves a little bit of recognition here. We'll get this subforum going shortly--enjoy it, guys and gals!

I also motion for a Manu0705 sub-forum for his pics!

Re: Recommendation: Sub-forum for Nick Warren

Please add also Jody + WOW, they definitely belong to Nick Warren. It could be rather WOW forum to cover the work of both geniuses. And the man himself could give [ms] a special authorization to post his sets from new Frisky show.

Probably not a bad Idea. Not sure on the politics regarding the frisky shows though.

Yea, that's a really good idea. It would be a Hybridized vs. [ms] fight to get the new sets first :)

once again MS proves itself to be the best forum on the web. thank you picklemonkey and all other admins for making a great decision. Hybridized puts out sets with a good bitrate, if u don't mind waiting a month. For my money, I know which site I'm going to.
