link not working?

Can someone up? the link is dead (downloads 500k) I used to catch sander back in Arc, some of the best nights I've ever had. He would break the set down so musically.

I still download his sets in hope to find something I like, but yeah most of it is for a big club where people don't care about the tunes.

I understand where sander's at, he's just playing for his audience, but what's the point? I'm sure he's got enough cash now he could drop the high profile clubs and just focus on good music. I guess once people get a taste of that life it's addictive.
Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009

Well guys, I just listened to the mix and I'm with Sander. Quality tracks.

It's not mixed exceptionally well, but chillout out is hard to mix, and he just threw it together. I'm glad to get something musical to listen to. I like it, and I'm glad to have something new/different!

SANDER I HOPE U READ THIS!! :)

Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009

Loved Sander's NuBreed but this shite just didn't cut it for me. I think this fiend has been slacking and given up on us ambient fiends ;)

Apologies for the drunken feedback

i kind of get what sander is trying to say: that he just put together a bunch of tracks he likes at the moment and didnt really mix them. i think the point sander k is missing is the criticism of how he is now playing in general, not just this mix

Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009

anyone know which track is the girl singing "paris burns beneath my feet"

beautiful

I think it's Tina Dico - Sacre Coeur - (Stella Polaris Allstars Dubmix)

Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009

i agree that some of the tracks on here really are beautiful but throwing tracks together with no mixing and no real respect for the 1 hour of music you tried to create really doesnt help your image.

you may like the tracks yes, but take an hour or so and evaluate where each track should go and give it a proper 1 hour mix. you are a club DJ not a radio DJ.

Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009
Yikes .. this thread seems to have struck a nerve - everyone's entitled to their opinions .. Sander has moved on (which he's entitled to do) and he's probably found a totally new crowd - one that I'd say enjoy a good night out, but I'd wonder how obsessive about their music and their productions.

I've actually got all his CD's ... Nubreed still sounds ground-breaking today, but the Renaissance ones were all incredibly well put together and I raved about the "this is" comp too.

But, in my mind, other things I have heard disappoint me by comparison. Too much seems throw-away ... not as much depth/melody ... sorry Sander !

Would be interesting to know his thoughts on Pacha's changes -the best house club in the world has expanded its vip and jettisoned Def Mix and Roger Sanchez, plus Renaissance are only using the brand name and none of their top DJ's e.g. Diggers/Hernan/Zabiela/Howells/Tomeii and (to a degree) Sasha (who played for them 2003 - 2007). Now you get David Guetta (who admitted he rarely sources his records and nicks them off Pete Tong & Morillo) and Freddy Legrande.

Life-style over substance. This year will be the 1st time I'll be giving Pacha a miss (Sander's not playing Pure Pacha the night I'm there - Benny Benassi is  ).
couldn´ t say it better, just hope, sander expects better days ...

Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009
he is referring to Sander's warmup 2 hour set he did for Deep Dish GU25 party... it is around here somewhere, search for it. it is probably one of sander's best live recorded mixes out there.

as for this mix, i dig some of the tracks and some just dont fit... no mixing whatsoever here.

sander is done. :(
Intrigued. Is there a link for this set?

Re: Sander Kleinenberg Chill-Out Mix 2009

I think Sander took the link down he couldnt handl;e the criticism from true music fans....ie kids...anyway sander you and steve lawler have something in coomon now you both went from top dj playing amazing tracks and mixing great parties to playing some new style crap and killing parties... i'm still waiting for lawler to go back to his old sound, but he wont and obviously sander aint goin back either... R.I.P. sander kleinenberg and Steve Lawler
