I haven't heard a Desyn Mix in like 6 or 7 years. He is totally off the radar now.
I've never heard a Desyn mix that I have liked, and I have tried.
So good to hear that  It's exactly how I felt about Desyn. Seen him multiple times, some with SOS, and never got into him at all. Saw him with Tom Morgan once . Tom was great !!:D What happened to him ??

You broke my heart.
Would have liked this to have been on there.
The sound has changed a lot in the last years, it always do. When Desyn was in full shape, Mohr was just a disciple. Desyn would be probably doing something really different nowaday.

Yes, it's like he left it, but I don't know why. He will play in Brooklyn in a couple of days.

Tom was always great, but imagine that sound today, it's also really outdated

Re: Lee Burridge - Requiem For A Daydream 5 Hours

Last nights All Day I Dream was one of the strangest. They moved the party to inside of the club, due to noise issues with the council. But Burridge seemed to bang it out, like I have never seen before. Don't get me wrong his set was brilliant, it just didn't feel like ADID.

Well, sounds very romantic and I would love to feel like you. In electronic music everything evolves very fast. I'm not saying that old stuff isn't good, far from that, but specially that kind of DJs like Tom, that 10 years ago used to play (in many cases), unreleased stuff made in bedrooms with plugins with beautiful creativity but limited knowledge.

Not in a derogative way, but it's obvious how the sound evolve thru the time. The sound, the techniques, the melodies, the compositions and specially one as a human are undeniable different IMHO.

If I play today a Tom mix from 2008, I get half the connection or less than I used to do.

Re: Lee Burridge - Requiem For A Daydream 5 Hours

Yeah, I consider myself very, very lucky to feel the way I do about music. :)

This is all true but different doesn't have to mean lesser. To steal a saying, it's all part of an incredible tapestry :) To me lesser is mp3
... :) To me lesser is mp3
I can't agree more with that. We are in XXI century and with almost unlimited storage capacity everywhere. 320Kbps should be minimum quality out there.
