I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages. I hope you love the tracks as much as I do and thanks for listening. As always, this is for Christina. For all those long nights working in the cloud With love, Lee
Just finished ... Perfect for home listening (besides while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet lol) .. it dont actually take off very much as you can expect from a 5 hours of mix but it´s really really amazing imo.. I would happily pay for stuff like this so big respect for Lee.

Top 5 shares of 2018 for me 8)

I probably agree, among the Cercle of Tale Of Us and Eulberg and a couple more including some Robot Heart stuff and Hot Since 82 in Bs.As. Maybe some Atish beauties too.

Re: Lee Burridge - Requiem For A Daydream 5 Hours

It's not in 320 Kbs no matter what the file says. If you can't tell that just from playing it you need to upgrade your playback system, I just don't get whats to gain from re-encoding except a massive waste in the file size but it seems to be de rigueur these days with Fernando, Marcello Vasami, Pole Folder etc over on frisky and now Lee doing it.I'm grateful to hear there music but can't help feeling like i'm being deceived.

Re: Lee Burridge - Requiem For A Daydream 5 Hours

Fucking hell Max! You're starting to sound like EC. It's not like the file size is taking up valuable space in your living room.

sounds better than a standard 128 soundcloud rip and that is much better imo. no complaints here.. not expecting the raw WAV file or anything.
It's not in 320 Kbps....
Well, I don't know how you checked it, but it looks like the mix was recorded with tracks in 128, 192 and 320, so it's not in vain to upload it in 320.

of course could be better, but 320 without a doubt in this case. What I don't have a clue, is why he would record a mix like this with mixed high and low quality tracks. Could be hard to believe that he doesn't buy his music but I don't find the reason for it then...

Hey DIDI, yes, that's assumed how it's correctly done, but I ask because there are some software tools to automaticly check this and doesn't work properly.

So, In my analyzer (Spectralayers) I can see many more zones with 320 info, but as I've said, it's a mix between different quality files. For sure with a weight and share like this, I would expect a 320 file all the time.

Maybe he didn't want people ripping individual tracks from the set.

Oddly enough I didn't ID this track, but I think that the ID maybe wrong. The actual track Burridge has been caining, so I guess that it is probably an unreleased track from Simon Vuarambon. Probably explains Max's conspiracy.

Personally I would rather have one or two releases a year like this showcasing what a DJ has been playing in the last 6 to 12 months, than a weekly show.

Btw I have listened to most of this now, headphones, and I really like it. Definitely a daytime mix and I could happily spend a few hours dancing to it. :)
