What should I/we do about all the immaturity and harassment? Do we let the personal attacks continue? Is that what people want? If not, what should I do to prevent them, or react to them when they happen?

• Continue as is with Politics closed
• Ban members ~1-2 days if they attack others

Yep if I find calling someone an asshole offensive means I have issues, I can live with that. You know what makes me laugh is time and time again when things like this get out of hand the offenders always try and pass it off as a bit of fun. I see exactly the same pattens at work in some of the harassment cases I've had to sit in on at work.

adam, i,m actually quite disgusted that i,ve been accused of personal attacks when i clearly attacked no one imo , this is going to be quite offensive to you and some other but i,m going to say it anyway... you guys have a right to protect other members from abuse and harrasment as moderater but as a mod where do u draw the line ? its quite clear your tolerance level is considerably lower than other people perceptions probably because u take the duty of mod pretty seriously and this is the prime example of what i,m talking about

I can't even think of 5 people to ban! I still think a few days away from MS would be a good idea. Maybe eventually said member(S) would eventually get tired of it and just drift away. Also, how would you handle members that clearly avoid the personal attacks but continuously shit disturb and egg people on? This place wouldn't be 3/4 as negative as it has been lately if it weren't for a particular member who keeps on complaining and getting offended by EVERYTHING! Seems they are doing it on purpose too!
