Re: Osama Bin Laden dead

I love the way everyone is speculating Pakistan must have known he was there. I doubt he drove into the compound in an open top car, or shot up town for a loaf of bread. I would be surprised if he ever left the inside of the building during daylight or got further than the garden late at night.

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead

They said on the news last night when the troops entered the room he was in he was using his wife as a shield. If he was using his wife as a shield how could he be armed? If this is the case I reckon they could have brought him in alive.

he was down the street from a prominent army base in Abbotabad.

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead

They never intended to bring him in alive. Also that apparently was a misquote about his wife. But even if he was armed or not...they were not going to take him prisoner either way.

The gov't over there is corrupt from top to bottom, I'm sure there was some complicity in keeping quiet.

I can't wait to see this Madame Tussauds wax figure of Osama with a bullet hole in his head.. I wonder if they shot the wax figure or just added during the melting process? I guess it will be a mystery forever eh Reso.

Yes and I reckon he wasn't inviting troops round for bible practice or putting the bins out once a week. I doubt the army where doing house checks either. I'm down the road from an army base, they don't know if I have guests round either.

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead

conspiracy kooks keep knocking at the doors of the mysteries, but their admittance is denied. primarily, because common sense and reason is quickly abandoned by most conspiracy theorists at first formula

Funny thats not what Obama said in his announcement.
I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of Bin Laden the top priority of our war against al-Qaeda, even as we continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network.
This is my favorite article

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/05/02/meet-the-navy-seals-who-killed-osama-bin-laden/

"Meet the Navy Seals Who Killed Osama"

You don't get to know who anyone was. What their names were. Where they are from. Why they were formed.

What great propaganda. If you don't get to know the Who, What Why, When and Where what did you meet about them?.Because you feel after reading the article you met them. Even though they told you nothing at all..

You think they froze OBL after Omar Sheik killed him Reso as well? That is what I thought.

lulz. did you understand the quote? also a few pages back i posted a quote from some official that the directive was to kill him from the outset of the raid.

In all fairness that's standard for this type of operation. When the SAS stormed the Iranian Embassy in the 80's you didn't see the names of the solders splashed in the news or given any details about them.

Nu-uh say you didn't just just type that. Please tell me you didn't.

Read it again, 10 times if you must, and then think about what you typed, and if you still didn't get it, then I'll need to spell it out for you. See you in my next post.

And if you think only the U.S. is privy to fabricating the truth, then you have a life's worth of learning to do about the ISI.

Its nutty how every person employed by the US Gov't is involved in lying and coverups. But everyone in the Pakistani gov't isn't.

Wack.

I have no trouble believing maybe the people living around the city might have known, they weren't going to say anything to anyone for fear of getting their heads cut off. I have no problem with that. I also believe there were probably some in the gov't getting paid to look the other way, or not talk about anything unusual. Both seem like reasonable things that could happen to me.

i highly doubt it.. think about it, if the government guy u were talking about were open to bribes or whatever then surely they would of told the cia of his whereabouts and claimed the reward of $25 mill rather than take what would of been substantially smaller hand outs from whoever. osama was a very VERY clever cunt and probably knew that close to danger for him would of probably been the only place no one would look for him

This seems reasonable. I'd also believe that I'd be the guy who would take $10k from the guy down the road who said I should take the money and stfu or he's going to have myself and my family chopped up vs. some 25 million bucks which who knows how I'd get ahold of that...

I would be suprissed if more than a handfull of "Al-Qaeda" knew he was hiding the that house, never mind getting the government in on it.
