Re: Iranium - watch free today
not true. Supplies ONLY came after D-day...how exactly would you have delivered them before???
Roosevelt gave Russia a 100 million dollar interest free loan for war materials in '41. Britian and the allies (including Canada, thanks RM) were also supplying materials through Russia's north ports before the US invasion.

Forced to fight? And how my American friend was Russia forced to fight? Ever heard of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact? If one country in Europe didn't have to fight...it was them.
I'm aware of the non-aggression pact they had to divide poland, which is why Stalin shit his drawers when Hitler pissed on that piece of paper and attacked Russia in the summer of 41. Russia was forced to defend from that point on, hence "forced to fight". Hitler had no intention of honoring any non-aggression treaty for any length of time. That "friendship treaty" didn't even last a year bro. Once he figured out his air force wasn't good enough to take England easily, he invaded Russia to the East, his biggest mistake ever and ultimately one of the main reasons Germany was eventually defeated.
To say the US helped anyone...purposefully is being naive...
this is a retarted statement that doesn't warrant a decent reply. Figure it out for yourself or don't. You are wrong.
Btw, it should be noted that D-Day was an "Allied Invasion" not a "US Invasion."

..but the US just like Russia and all others cares only for itself...which is why the D day invasion was postponed 3 times and the Russkies started distrusting the US. To say the US helped anyone...purposefully is being naive...the US knew that it would be next some years down the line just like Russia knew the same.
D-Day was postponed three times because of weather. This was the largest amphibious assault ever in the history of man kind, martian kind, the universe, including uranus. Conditions had to be perfect for the assault to be successful. Even with perfect conditions, D-Day was nearly a failure.
the Russkies started distrusting the US
LOL @ Stalin "trusting" anyone. It's debatable, but Stalin might have been a bigger monster than Hitler. Fact is though, the Allies needed Russia and Russia needed the Allies to defeat Germany. "Trust" didn't matter.

You are making more sense than usual Jenksy
I was a history major before eventually graduating with a literature/writing degree. My interest was in 1900s American history and wars, specifically WW2 and Veitnam. I don't have any interest in arguing with chunky or RM about Iraq, WMDs, UFOs, dead fucking birds, media blabiddy fucking blah, or the endless nonsensical debate about why the world trade towers fell because the carcass of that horse has been pulverized by a mob of circus clowns, but if you want to talk history, literature, or music, I'm your huckleberry.
