they had been fired upon by similar looking "civilians" all day up to that point. also, they found aks and rpgs with the dead.
So this wasn't the first time that day that the soldiers had engaged in a fire fight. Or did they not engage in a fire fight up to that point instead choosing to just fly away from people shooting at them and look for some people who weren't firing on them to engage with. :what

Re: Video-US Apache helicopter killing civilians and journalists

i think you misunderstood, let me clarify. they are flying around a city with people who have shot at them in the day. therefore people with what they think of are guns get shot at first before they shoot at you. thats usually how you stay alive, at least from what ive seen on tv.

#1356370Post 51 of 180

Re: Video-US Apache helicopter killing civilians and journalists

Sounds like they would all be better of if they didn't spend their day flying around the city.

Re: Video-US Apache helicopter killing civilians and journalists

Wow, now we're all a bunch of Satanic murderers. I'll have to remember that.

You have absolutely lost your mind Running man. Just because some videos here or there pop up that show some low life soldiers committing atrocities, you think everyone that wears a uniform is a demon. Keep in mind that the majority respect rules of engagement, and respect the life of civilians. One day you might want to grow a pair of balls and pull your self off of you office depot chair and go and visit these countries that we're "murdering" all of these civilians by the truckload in. Ask the locals how much they really hate us. You think you know about everything that is going on, but you don't know a damn thing. You don't have inside info, like you think you do, trust me!

You practically cream your pants any time you stumble across any fragment of info that can raise an eyebrow, especially if its about the U.S. Everything you type on her paints an utterly disgusting picture of you, and you should be down right ashamed of yourself. Get a fucking life man!

On the other hand free speech rocks, so go ahead and keep making yourself look like an absolute fool.

Re: Video-US Apache helicopter killing civilians and journalists

I love how you end with a prayer... Amen...:twisted:

I'm not sure some of you get it yet. Satan rules the US that is obvious. I have seen it first hand. Do I think all americans are satanic? Absolutely NOT.. But your gov't is ruled by Satan.

If you invent something that saves peoples lives you don't get ANY funding from the government.. Canada or US. If I invented something that killed people better and more efficiently I would have had unlimited funding by the Pentagon. What does that tell us as a society? Death is good and peace and saving lives is bad. It really is simple math.

Some more math - How much money does the Pentagon spend a year? What is their budget? And what is the budget for saving people, Human RIghts, qulity of life..etc...?

Re: Video-US Apache helicopter killing civilians and journalists

this was just on the same 60 minutes episode from sunday which i spoke about a in a different thread, different story that the gene episode though.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/04/04/60minutes/main6362203.shtml?tag=currentVideoInfo;segmentTitle
As president, George W. Bush did something momentous that few of you may know about - something so momentous that it is saving millions of lives and generating good will for America around the world.

Millions of Africans who had been dying of AIDS are now living with AIDS, thanks to President Bush's program. The U.S. is providing pills to more than two million people with HIV/AIDS, people who could never afford them and who were condemned to die. The medicine not only saves their lives, it permits them to live full lives.

...

Bush created the program in 2004 with the bi-partisan backing of Congress; last year, Congress raised the funding to about $7 billion a year for the next five years.

Dr. Mugyenyi has called this the greatest aid effort in modern times. "There has never been a rescue mission, a mission of mercy of this magnitude that has produced such magnanimous results," he explained.
Right on!
you two elected your governments I and everyone else outside the US didn't therefore I don't really trust your government and I think its stupid how most people here say they trust their government in regards to all of this shit i.e. Iraq, 9/11 etc etc yet when it comes to internal issues like healthcare or anything on a national level all i hear is people bitching how the government is fucking everything up... I would be more inclined to belive that fucked up shit that requires supervision happens durring a war than on home ground as you have a bunch of retards playing with some pretty lethal shit. In addition, is that the same attitude that led us to Iraq in the first place..."is there any evidance of WMD's?" answer"the public doesnt need to know EVERY LITTLE THING THAT HAPPENS, this is war for fucks sake not a goddam football game"

right

I think I would prefer to know what my vote, tax dollar and children/brothers are going to be a part of.

Witnesses interviewd day after US killings.

http://www.democracynow.org/2010/4/8/exclusive_witnesses_describe_deadly_2007_us

Where is the need to kill the wounded and those who arrive to help?

Invasion, occupation, torture, rape, murder, corruption, phosphorus gas, depleted uranium, renditions, refugees, orphans, sickness, trauma ect, ect.

Seriously, what have the Iraqi men, woman and children done to deserve any of this?

It's an absolute disgrace. Australians, Americans, British and all the other muderous regimes involved, should hang their heads in farken shame, for allowing the endless and unnecessary slaughter of fellow human beings.

I recon the solders in the helicopter must of ID-ed the van as a van that earlier in the day had been shooting at them and came to the conclusion that the occupants must be tooling up for a fire fight when they witnessed them dragging injured people into the back of the van. That's the way it looked and sounded to me after listening to the dialogue of the solders and watching the video.

See this so called rational thinking everyone round here is keen on isn't so hard.
