Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

I am going to post a direct link of the declassified documents of what was proposed to get into Cuba in 1962. Now before anyone wants to go around calling people conspiracy theorists they should read this conspiracy. Make sure you read it all the way ot the end that is where they mention what false flags they were proposing.

It's only 12 pages Reso.

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

It amazes me how some people still believe, that the US government wasn't at all involved in 9-11.

#1347860Post 3 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

I know. Of course they don't want to comment in this thread because as long as they ignore threads like this they can go on believing that things like this aren't propsed by the gov't as a solution.

Here are my favorites

 1. Shooting down a plane with American college students.
 2. Sink their own ship with no one on board 2b. Have funerals for those people that died on the ship
 3. Setting off plastic bombs in US to be blamed on the Cubans

I won't stop bringing this thread to the top until Toasty, Reso, Miro and some others have acknolwedged that they read this and are aware of it.

If only to save everyone else from you bumping this for an eternity, I'll acknowledge that I've read this 48-year-old document.

Here's the thing: this doesn't surprise me at all, because every right-minded person is aware that all governments, including the US Government, engage in these kinds of shenanigans from time to time. The big difference is that you seem to think that this is the preferred way for the US Government to operate, whereas most of us recognize that it is the exception to the rule.

And how do we know that it's the exception to the rule? Because 9 times out of 10, it's totally unnecessary to engage in such convoluted hoop-jumping, when you could just do something out in the open. Check out this video:

Kinda sums it up nicely for me.

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

I know it is scary to think that they were planning this 48 years ago. I wonder what they are planning now? Also the information is harder to get now. They don't release it for 50 years for a reason, so people just talk like you Toasty "Oh it was a along time ago so lets just dismiss it, things like that don't happen now.."

PS I notice nothing surprises you Toasty once I tell you. Also exception to the rule? Are you kidding me?

How many years does a document like this remain classified in the US? In the UK its normally 30 years but the British Government can hold it for up to another 20.

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

It's like you're reading words that aren't there:
I know it is scary to think that they were planning this 48 years ago.
Who are you agreeing with here? Can't be me.
They don't release it for 50 years for a reason, so people just talk like you Toasty "Oh it was a along time ago so lets just dismiss it, things like that don't happen now.."
How on earth could you read my post and conclude that the point I was trying to make was that this doesn't happen anymore? Quite the contrary, it was an acknowledgment that yes, this sort of thing happens.
PS I notice nothing surprises you Toasty once I tell you. Also exception to the rule? Are you kidding me?
There is a difference between something being "surprising" or "not surprising" to me on the one hand, and going all :runningman: about it on the other. Your ability to over-read and overplay an event is well neigh legendary...

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

well Toasty all I'm saying is that if you agree that "yes" this sort of thing happens why can't you believe that 9/11 could have had something to do with your Gov't. I mean they (The Media) knew it was OBL within minutes of the attack announcing it all over the news when OBL denied it for months. So how did they know it was him and why is he still not being charged for 9/11 on his FBI Wanted sheet?

"Attack on Federal Facility Resulting in Death"

isn't the Pentagon a federal facility?

#1348173Post 12 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

Does it say 9/11? I think that would be mentioned. I don't think they would have you guessing considering 9/11 changed the world.

#1348181Post 13 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

no, don't think it really has too, but as per normal, keep splitting hairs

do you think those are the only three charges? i'm sure they would need a few posters if they were to list everything he's wanted for.. there aren't dates for the other charges either, right?

#1348189Post 14 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

splitting hairs?? If I go out and kill someone it will say the charges on my wrap sheet.. OBL has not been charged with 9/11 because the FBI (Admitted) "It has no hard evidence linking OBL to the 9/11 attacks"

http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/rupert-cornwell/rupert-cornwell-fbi-most-wanted-list-celebrates-60-years-of-notoriety-1921028.html

You are the one splitting hairs. You are adding in assumptions.

#1348192Post 15 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

you're joking right? I asked 2 questions, what did I assume?

the Pentagon IS a federal facility, not sure if the WTC is also considered federal or not

#1348200Post 16 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

why would you have to assume he committed the attacks? 1998 is on there Why wouldn't 9/11 be on there??

Why do you always ask if I'm joking? The FBI admitted they don't have evidence linking the two but you Steve Graham just assume it. I mean the real question is are you joking?

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read
I mean they (The Media) knew it was OBL within minutes of the attack announcing it all over the news when OBL denied it for months.
Uh, everyone knew it was OBL, or at least OBL-affiliated, as soon as we knew it was a terrorist attack. Again, you're eager to assume a vast conspiracy ("hey media, go spread the message that OBL is behind this to cover up the fact that we attacked ourselves, bwaa-ha-ha-ha-ha") when the answer is so much simpler -- it was reported that OBL was likely behind it because everyone thought OBL was likely behind it. ...And the reason we all thought OBL was likely behind it was that he was the leader of a terrorist organization that had attacked American interests in the past, and had expressed a desire to do it again.

I've always wondered just how much of a personal role bin Laden had in the attack, but I've never wondered if it was an al Qaeda operation and, as head of al Qaeda, he's of course going to be the poster child for 9/11.

I mean, when this happened, who did YOU think did it? Surely you didn't think we attacked ourselves at the time, right?

#1348206Post 18 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

you only knew it was OBL because the MSM told you it was OBL. William Cooper predicted months in advance that OBL was going to be used as a front for a flase flag attack.

How can it be a conspiracy if he isn't being charged for it? It isn't on his FBI file!!! They can't link the two. You are the one that believes the vast conspiracy. The gov't conspiracy. I mean shit 6 out of the 10 9/11 commisioners agree that a new investiagitno is needed because they don't even belive the story.

No unfortunetly I believed the MSM story.. I also was for the wars on the belief that Iraq and Afghanistan had something to do with it.. Then I woke up.
We are still waiting for the evidence that the Bush administration told us they would present to us shortly after 9/11. 9 years and we are still waiting.:what
One bit of evidence would be OBL indicating that he did, in fact, have a hand in it. Regardless of what you may think about 9/11, I don't think there's anyone that would argue with the idea that bin Laden had a deep hatred for the US. With that being the case, why would he assist in covering up what would be an immensely embarrassing revelation by claiming responsibility?

As I understand it, from a prosecutorial standpoint, the feds don't feel like they have a strong enough link between OBL and 9/11 to convict him for it. That does not mean that I'm required to ignore the overwhelming evidence that would suggest that al Qaeda had a hand in it. I mean, they didn't have enough evidence to convict OJ, but it doesn't follow that I have to ignore the overwhelming evidence of his guilt and pretend that he didn't brutally murder two people.

You truthers are so willing to ignore evidence like, you know, confessions from people with no incentive to help the US whatsoever, yet the alternative theories you advance are based upon far flimsier evidence.

A fairly significant person in light of the fact that he's the very guy accused of being responsible, but yeah, I guess you could characterize it that way. It would be silly, hyper-technical and not particularly persuasive, but if it makes you feel like you've won a little battle here by pointing out the use of some causal language, then, you know, mazel tov.

Also another point that has been forgotten is that the Taliban were going to hand over Bin Laden if there was any proof that he did it. If the US was so sure and could show proof the Taliban would have handed him over.

Agreed. They are good guys, I'd hold them to their word. Maybe the guys that agreed to that accidently killed themselves while blowing themselves and random women and children up in a Baghdad market is why this hasn't happened. DAMNIT IM GOOD!!!

they agree to turn him over to a world court if the US could show evidence. You see the war could have been avoided if the US could just show some GOD DAMN PROOF!!! My countrymen are in that stupid war it pisses me off.

There is no proof that is why. because he didn't do it.

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

Also you must have missed Eric Holder testifying on CSPAN today that Osama will never be taken alive.

From NPR.

http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2010/03/ag_eric_holder_bin_laden_wont.html
Osama bin Laden will likely never be tried in a U.S. courtroom but killed before being captured, said Attorney General Eric Holder. (AP Photo)

By Frank James Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress Tuesday that al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden would never be tried in a U.S. courtroom. Testifying before a congressional committee, the point Holder was making was less about the administration's philosophy on where terrorists should be tried and more about the practical realities. As Holder explained, either bin Laden would be killed by U.S. forces as he resisted capture or he would be killed by his own people in order to keep him from falling into U.S. hands.
#1348417Post 38 of 77

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

i can totally agree with that, he has probably been dead for years. but any propaganda coming out with his name is not the us gov't (sorry to disappoint), it is other al quaeda members using that crap to find new martyrs for their cause.

also you seem to just have spaced out on your last 10 comments about turning him over to a us court if we showed evidence. how come you failed to mention that? this would be a bit tough since hes dead right?

also still waiting for an official gov't doc agreeing to this.

Re: Operation Northwoods - Everyone Should Read

Becuase this was back in 2001 before the Afghan invasion silly goose. He died sometime around 2004.

Also why would it be on a goverment website? The news is rarely on Gov't websites. Do you actually believe I am going to waste 30mins of my time to go on a goose hunt for you. That link is from a CBS archive.

Here since I know you didn't read it here

Sept. 21, 2001 Without evidence, Afghanistan's Taliban rulers will not hand over Osama bin Laden, Afghanistan's ambassador to Pakistan said Friday.

The rejection came in a statement by Abdul Salam Zaeef, the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan. Asked whether the Taliban would hand over bin Laden, Zaeef said, "No." But his translator said, "No, not without evidence."

He also said he had no information on bin Laden's current whereabouts.

At a news conference in Islamabad, the Taliban ambassador said he was sorry that people had died in the suicide attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon last week, but appealed to the United States not to endanger innocent people in a military retaliation.

"Our position on this is that if America has proof, we are ready for the trial of Osama bin Laden in light of the evidence."

Asked if he was ready to hand bin Laden over, he snapped, "No."
