And it doesn't matter who the President is. And he apologized very quickly for it, because he recognized that he was in deep shit. But honestly, I'm not surprised that the inappropriateness of this kind of behavior doesn't register with you.

Also I don't appreciate ice pick jabs implying that I am not courteous or to stupid to recognize how this is inappropriate. Also I am not gloomy but when I look outside and its raining I tell everyone it is raining no matter what the weather man says.

And I don't see why the manner of the founding of our country necessitates boorish behavior. I just think it was poor behavior, the Republicans thought it was poor behavior, and Joe HIMSELF said that it was poor behavior and apologized.

So I think you're kind of on your own on this one. And that was my point with the "I'm not surprised" comment, because you usually are on your own with a lot of your comments. As far as your behavior goes, not gonna comment on that because we've all seen lots of it and formed our own opinions by now anyways.

They got their point across to a National audience that they think Obama is liar. You see it is a sound bite "Obama - Liar" now everyone today is not talking about Healthcare they are talking about if Obama is a liar.. It worked great. They completely hijacked the purpose of the speech.

The Congressman yelling "You lie" was out of line and right to immediately apologize. I'm okay with dissent and debate at the town hall meetings to a degree, but last night's outburst was disrespectful to the President. His emotions probably did get the better of him, but everyone should respect the office and his position.

Not sure what all the back and forth going on is about in this thread because it seems off topic. I think we can and should all agree regardless of political affiliation that last night's outburst was disrespectful. I'm glad to see the Congressman apologize so quickly and the President to not make this a big issue.

Factually incorrect. Everyone is not talking about that, they are talking about what a meathead Joe Wilson was for just blurting that out like that. To the extent that there has been discussion about whether Obama's claim was a lie or not, that hasn't gone particularly well either, because, again:
