abortion will always be around because of Eugenics. No matter which party wins for the rest of time abortions will still be going on for population control.

i would be deathly afraid if they won.
the thing is, why do people even have to consider it at this point>?>
mccain is so far lost in hiw own parties stupidity that if he won, if would be because Jesus Christ himself descended from heaven, proved he was God, and placed mccain in world leadership. but i have a better chance of flying wihtout external aid than that.

i wouldnt be so positive in all honesty.
judging by what happened in 2000, anything can happen. only way we can be certain that Obama wins is a day or two (hopefully) after mass voting has finished.
well just like what Palin said about gay rights... she said she can "tolerate them" but do you honestly think that that jesus freak likes gay people?
Again, I think this is all just word-wrangling. Is "tolerance," as a concept, the same thing as Sarah Palin being "tolerant" of gay people? I don't think they are the same thing. It really doesn't matter, though, because we all know what she means when Palin talks about "tolerating" gay people.
goes to show what you know. So you even know what the Patriot Act is and what "PATRIOT" stands for. Here you go.

Is was carefully crafted so it spells out Patriot so yuppies like yourself get caught up in the wording.
I'm not sure what the point is that you're trying to make here. But the fact is, the only wordcraft there was intended to conjure up images of a waving flag and other lump in the throat, patriotic images.
Same reason that only one US senator had the balls to face his constituents after voting against it in the first place.
Why are you defending it, anyway? Are you a supporter?

Oriental may also derogatorily refer to: Asian people
That is why people may assume you are racist.

Re: What if McCain actually wins??
If McCain wins, then some of us will stew about it for a while and then get back to our daily lives. The end.

If you believe in freedom then you wouldn't be living in Canada now would you? Especially since socialism promotes an egalitarian society.

It's ok, we're ashamed to have people give up so readily in the states and in a country that still offers far more freedom, both economically and socially, than many other countries in the world. And in case you haven't noticed, there are stupid people everywhere. But hey, maybe you're suffering from an identity crisis and perhaps it's just that you want to feel and breathe like a European?
I like being American though. Even though my heritage is East Indian, I am American and I am proud of that. I went to good schools, met great people, and experienced a hell of a lot. I have an appreciation for the subtleties of our Constitution and what the forefathers tried to lay out for this country. I appreciate that over the past 200 some odd years our country has ebbed and peaked with time and that we broke down barriers to reach goals. I appreciate that we evolved a significant magnitude of economic prosperity and freedom that other countries would jizz in their eye for.

well, Canada does possess a more free economic system than the United States right now (according to Cato Institute). I know he did not contemplate this when he made that remarks so he can't claim it as a substantive cause for making such comments, but, just wanted to let you know...

That is interesting, however, here's another source that indicates otherwise.

^ hm, okay, but a libertarian think tank that is focesed on economic freedom, I think, trumps that.

Even still, to suggest that canada, a country that has long been pointed to by conservative commentators as to the effects of socialism, to even be equal to the united states on economic liberty, is astounding.

Understandable, however I don't at all think it trumps the world economic forum. Besides, Cato and the like (Mises) seem to find anything going against the grain of the Constitution as socialist. Certainly the bailout is a socialist approach, but I don't think we are equal to Canada in economics, not at all. Perhaps in the future we might, but we still have years to go to see it unfold if it does happen. Anyway you can have the last word and I'll agree to disagree.
