Not a lot of talk about this lately but what will happen if McCain somehow wins?? What will the Obama zombies do?? Will this further divide the country??

I bring this up because on every news station they are talking like this race is over and Obama is going to win by 10%.

either way, America is screwed for the next 10 years thanks to Clinton and Bush, so it really doesnt matter who gets elected.

but as far as i am concerned, Obama is the lesser evil of the two.

Re: What if McCain actually wins??

I haven't heard Obama say anything about undoing Bush's policies such as the Patriot Act 1 and 2. So I don't really see the difference between Obama and Bush.

It's also racist to assume that the only reaction a group of people could possibly have to Obama losing is to turn to violence.

#1109944Post 33 of 102

Re: What if McCain actually wins??

he'd be going there so he doesn't have to live under the police state of mccain palin, not because of this idiotic racist bullshit you guys have come up with.

i don't plan to live in this country forever anyway, so a mccain palin whitehouse would definitely speed up that plan.

If you read what I said I asked it we should prepare for violence I didn't say it was a guarantee. Either way living across from Detroit it is a legitimate question to ask. Also 1967 happened and as hard as us white people try to dismiss that date it happened.

Chloe on here we like to give links to back up arguments.
Also 1967 happened and we can't act like it didn't.
OK, but it did happen in, you know, 1967, over 40 years ago. Forgive me if I feel like we've made some progress since then.

#1109953Post 36 of 102

Re: What if McCain actually wins??

I don't believe that much progress has been made. I don't share your optimism.

If McCain wins it will all be about race.

@ ms scientist king. do you think that pessimism, doubt, rigid cynicism, and skeptical timidity, will take you on a one way trip to negative land? :|

Re: What if McCain actually wins??

so where is the link saying Obama is going to undo domestic spying completely?? So let me get this straight am I being called a racist on here????? This is laughable. You see this is the problem with your country to start with. You can't even be prepared for certain events or you are a racist. HAHAHAHAHAHAh... ya i'm so racist guys.

Oh ya and Chloe with your boy toy Obama there what you are going to get is the same Bush policies just with a Carbon tax and higher taxes across the board to help pay for these bailouts that have been going on.

Well, I live in St. Louis, one of the cities mentioned in this post. Moreover, I live in a integrated neighborhood in the heart of the City, and I don't look across a body of water to see black people, I look across the street -- and yet, it hadn't even occurred to me that I would need to be fearful in the event Obama lost.

edit: ...and for what it's worth, I'm not calling you a racist -- I reserve that sort of label for shosh, because he's earned it -- just pointing out that your reasoning on this point is based upon an outdated and antiquated mindset...
