Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
indeed I take that back...Dow was up 130 before the vote..after it went to -50 and finished over -150 on the day.
can't predict the markets ;)
So we have 850B going in this bill...add the recent injection puts it over 1T...this should hit oh 3-4T possibly when it's all said and done?
Got to love it...
Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
i work in the finance industry, and i haven't fucked up anything (yet!). if they're giving the morons 850 Billion, how much can i be expecting!?
Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
What would happen if, instead of bailing out the banks they bailed out the borrowers and gave the banks 700bn (or whatever) in return for the banks writing off 10% (say) of everyone's mortgage debt? this could be a way to kick start the economy in many different ways and would, without question create the "feelgood factor" that is currently missing.....i am no expert on big-time-charly money things which is why i ask the question - what would happen ? sure it would make a hole in the "assets" of the bank but they are unsustainable assets and in my experience if someone owes you 100 and they eventually say look i got 90 or nothing i'm gonna take 90..
and let's not forget who this bailout cash is comin from in the first place - the taxpayer - who then has to pay again

entrenched in all this debt...i think we are in process of witnessing a new alignment and integration between Washington and New York with global ramifications for world markets.
Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
so is it $700 or $850 billion... I find it funny over the last 2 weeks everyday you would see "bailout", "bailout", now that they passed it is like the bailout has disappeared.
Wow I am so happy they passed this $850 billion bailout. Now we can finally move on and forget about this bad spell. Out of sight truly is out of mind. Now I can go back to my tv and watch football in peace.
LaRouche having a few words about the bailout. Amero here we come!!

one week after the bail first failed - then later passed!
good to see everything back on track !
Worldwide wreckage U.S. indexes keep falling as European shares end with worst one-day drop ever; Dow sinks below 10,000 level; S&P, Nasdaq slide 7%-8%
marketwatch!
Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
if the world wanted to truly do something, they would all implement media curbs ASAP, making it illegal for newscasters and commentators to say a word about this. the only ppl hwo shold be on TV are buffet, soros, chohen, branson, dick grasso etc.
Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
^^ surely that should have been 10 days ago!!

Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!

Re: Bush's $700,000,000,000 Bailout!!!
ah jesus sean sorry to hear that man.. I think that is the overall consensus right now with anybody in stocks.. the problem with Soros and buffet is that they will ie to us so they can make more money.. there is nobody to trust. It is true news anchors should be reporting the news and keeping there pea brain comments out.

Isn't it interesting that everyone had a big issue with "$700billion" but add $140billion to it and it's not so bad...lol
