as much as it sucks, or so it seems, when you get to this point of the "top" it's ruthless, dire, and everything that needs to be done to stay up there, even at the cost of the regular workers...otherwise you get chewed up and spit out alive.

Sean said it best though...it comes down to desire and want. Even I used to lament the fact that I'm not up there and others are...but now I've taken that and turned it into a burning desire to make the money and get up to that range...not to be a CEO per say, but to make that type of money and be able to live the life I want to...not scrape by like some of these idiots do.

By the same token, this country (US) offers that chance to do so...not get capped out, or only be able to make so much and just eke out a living, only if you question or protest the fact you could get killed. It's out there, here, if you want it.
