i know that this a terrible question. But what really do u think about this?

Do you think Bush has killed 5-7 million of his own people for disagreeing with his policies or religious beliefs?

C'mon, that's just one comparison. The list could go on. How could you ask such a question?

By the way, the majority of the people killed were women and children. Blindfolded. Shot in the head.

#215902Post 4 of 85

 I can't even believe someone would make this comparison.

What the hell is being reported overseas? and when will this goddam propaganda machine shut down?

It seems our actions are not really whats injuring our reputation, but rather the opinions of our naysayers and some one-sided reporting.

i think that United State killed more people than Saddam Viertnam, Corea, Somalia, Panama, Irak. Reagan, Clinton, Bush = Saddam

#215955Post 7 of 85

^^^^^ You're a funny man!

Mmm lets see, one man came to power against the wishes of his people, systematically carried out a program of ethnic cleansing against some of his own people, mass murder of his opponents, caused the death of millions of people due to war and funding of terrorist activity, and the other is a democratically elected leader.

Difficult, will have to get back to you on this one!

#215983Post 8 of 85

People are so frickin retarded.

Not naming names or anything. So don't just assume I'm talking about someone in this thread, perhaps someone from Peru.

But some people are just retarded.

Thanks for the laugh. That is honestly one of the funniest posts I've read in a long time.

So Bush, Clinton and Reagan equal Saddam, huh? Maybe the total amount of people that died under their command equals the amount Saddam killed. How many millions did they execute, kidnap or torture for no other reason than questioning authority, being a different religion/race or sometimes no reason at all. The people in the countries you listed were killed because of wars or other military conflicts. In case you forgot...people die in wars. Americans died as much as they did. Saddam was not waging a war that could justify the millions he slaughtered. So Saddam was at war with his people???? Is that what you're saying???

Think before you post.

Re:: who is more killer Saddam or Bush?

This is seriously the dumbest question ever. Hmmmm lets see what's worse people dying in a military conflict or genocide. WTF?? I'm with Jenks. Has to be Peru.

As much as I dislike the Bush administration and disagree with their policies, this is one of the most ridiculous questions I have ever seen. Can I have some of whatever you are smoking?

Compare Saddam to Hitler or Milosovich or the Hutu militias in Rwanda. Bush is only comparable to all other US presidents. Not an angel, but not exactly carrying out genocide (or anything close).

Re:: who is more killer Saddam or Bush?

Hi friends!!. I know that u dont like my question. But its my opinion. This a place when u can give your opinion. My opinion is diferent to your north american and imperialist vision. For me United State goverment is a imperialist country and kill whem they want oil or some resources (Afganistan, Irak, Somalia) . England goverment ve a a similar exterior politic. (Malvinas War with Argentina, under drugs effects soldiers england violate soldiers Argentinos (Ernesto Sabato ). Its true they dont kill as Saddam. They say we are the liberty troops, etc etc. We ve to wait some years then we will see "the american fall". Thanks Michael Moore. U cry because son many people die in New York iin Madrid, but thousands of children and woman die in Orient all days. Do u cry for them? No. Why ? They re not american civils or europeans. And i repeat: reagan, clinton, bush = saddam .

Re:: who is more killer Saddam or Bush?

To start, Saddam murdered his math teacher when he was 11 yo. Then he was a street thug and killed countless people. The he kill a bunch of people to get into power. THEN he killed everyone who might oppose his staying in power. Then he killed millions over the next 30 years!!!

I hate Bush morethan anyother politician, but you can' compare him to Saddam!!

Bush still wasn't right toinvade Iraq - but hes not a homicidal dictator!

Is that what you want, America to fall? Do you know what would happen to your little country if that happened? No more U.S. aid and all of you would probably starve to death. No more help with policing druck trafficking, so you would all become Coke heads. No more American products for you that the rest of the world absolutely loves. Maybe the U.S. should go to Peru and liberate the rest of the country from knuckleheads like you...usted es ignorante!!!

A killer is a killer. If someone slaps you, don't slap him back. Rather turn your cheek.

Re:: who is more killer Saddam or Bush?

a fact: the USA gave to Saddam the weapons and chemical weapons, and bombs to use it against de people of iran. isn?it? a few years later.....you invade that country in the name of freedom, looking for weapons of mass destruction that you sold! bombing civilians..killing man, womans and children.. another fact: the USA gave weapons and munnitions to Indonesia. the result? millions of deaths by the invasion of Timor. so....I could say to you hundreds of examples that your country had done.

so who is a more killer? saddam or Bush? maybe Saddam....But Bush is a killer too. and stop selling weapons. money is not everything in the world. and look hoy many deaths your weapons had done. the fact is that you see too much hollywood....the bad guys..the good guys...but open your eyes...the bud guys are everywhere.not just in Irak..in the USA too.
A killer is a killer. If someone slaps you, don't slap him back. Rather turn your cheek.
Saying that a killer is a killer is typical of your Black and White attitude delirious. Everything is cut and dry, no grey area's.

That is like saying music is music, whether its Brittney Spears or John Digweed. Or maybe food is food, whether its a hamburger or some pasta.

The examples could go on and on like that.

#222498Post 24 of 85

pfft, if i get slapped, you can bet the slapper is getting slapped back.

#222810Post 25 of 85

^^^^

This thread is really becoming amusing.

I agree with Marimba that Americans (and Koreans, Russians, blahblahblah) should stop selling weapons to the rest of the world... Definitely a bad side of capitalism. :? And back to the topic: well, I am quite sure that Sadam killed quite a lot people by himself, while Bush didn't commit any murders (as far as I know), so the answer is simple:

SADAM IS A KILLER. BUSH IS NOT A KILLER AT ALL.

If we discuss their politics: I still think that sadams commands caused far more deaths than all the mentioned American presidents' commands together...

#222827Post 26 of 85

^re: your last sentence...

one US president caused more deaths in a few days than 10 saddams in a lifetime.

guess which one.

This is fucking hilarious! Being a killer is like being dead. You're either dead or you're not dead. It's a black or white issue!

You've either killed/been involved in the killing of people or you haven't. Simple as that.

Please explain the "grey area."

#223018Post 28 of 85

The grey area is all over, as with any issue there is always grey area, its never cut and dry..

Its obviously your incapacity to understand it, or you simple choose not to acknowledge it. Sometimes searching for it on one issue is more difficult to understand depending on your philosophy, but its still there.

I think Quintin's masterpiece Kill Bill explains it best.
"It was not my intention to do this in front of you, and for that I am sorry. But I can assure you that your mother had it coming"

"When you get older, if you still feel .... bitter about it, I'll be waiting."
Its like the discussion I had with someone else on the board regarding capital punishment and how Saddam is well deserving of it. He said that if I was to kill Saddam, personally, how am I any better of a person then he is. Well, I would be a better person.

The philosophy of modern day liberal's, and how killing, on any level puts you on the same level as a murderer is completely erroneous. Its downright defective and flawed. Honestly, I'm not really looking for your's, nor anyone else's understanding on this issue. So I'm not going to delve too far into this very complicated, philisophical issue. But here are some great examples.

I will say, that if you haven't seen Kill Bill, go see it. And if you have, well ..... Beatrix deserved her revenge, and each person she killed deserved to die. This is because, in essence, they killed her and everyone she loved. Thus, they all deserved the same in return.

Now, taking this same philosophy, Beatrix also deserve's to die if/when the young girl whose mother was the first to die, decides on her own revenge. Which will inevitably happen once Kill Bill 3 comes out roughly 17 years or so from now.

Applied to another scenario, which is real. Lets say you have a daughter, and your daughter is raped and murdered by someone. Do you have the right to kill this person?? Or is it by your horribly flawed liberal logic, that you somehow would put yourself on the same level, and thus, would be no better then he is if you were to do so??

If something like that happened to my daughter, I wouldn't think twice except on how best to kill the person without getting caught. And yes, I would be a better person then he is.

Now if, however, that same man has a son, who was in no way tied to the horrible crimes his father commited, and decides someday to take vengence on me. I would be deserving of it. His father took my daughter away from me, and I deserved my revenge. The same applies to me, I took his father away from him, and thus, I deserve to die, and that person deserve's his revenge every bit as much.
When fortune smiles on something as violent and ugly as revenge, at the time it seems proof like no other, that not only does God exist, you're doing his will.
#223040Post 29 of 85

Maybe the question was: who is more killer Saddam or USA? Still ... you can not compare this terms but it is still better then compareing Saddam ( a totaltary leader - the one and only mind that really counts in his regim ) with Bush... that is part of a democracy ... and is ... in my oppinion almost a puppet ... like any other democratic president.

Excuse me if I am wrong. This is just my point of view, the one of a Romanian 17 years old boy.

#223063Post 30 of 85

Re:: who is more killer Saddam or Bush?

i'll assume you meant who kills more people -- Bush or Saddam?

I was actually somewhat surprised to see this thread. There shouldn't be any comparison between the two. I'll let others detail what should be obvious differences between these two.

I'm really more concerned about whatever information you're getting that leads you to even post something like this.
The grey area is all over, as with any issue there is always grey area, its never cut and dry..
I didn't ask for a rant about liberals or a discussion on if killing in some circumstances is justified - and, yes, I love Kill Bill 8) But my question to you was simply:

How is whether or not you're a killer not a black-or-white issue?

killer n 1: someone who causes the death of a person or animal WordNet ? 1.6, ? 1997 Princeton University

Explain the grey area. Give an example.

#223546Post 32 of 85

define killer.

#223551Post 33 of 85
define killer.
Let's use a dictionary definition:

Someone who causes the death of a person or animal

#223554Post 34 of 85

in that case, i'm a killer.

i've hit a deer with my car.

i've killed a deer with my rifle.

i've killed rabbits, quail, ducks...

#223558Post 35 of 85

saddam is way more of a killer than any others mentioned tho, jeez...just take a look at the Iraqi election ballot.
in that case, i'm a killer.
Yes, indeed you are. As I originally said, "A killer is a killer."

You could also specify whether a person is specifically a killer of humans or not but that's besides the point.
saddam is way more of a killer than any others mentioned tho, jeez...just take a look at the Iraqi election ballot.
How many you've killed is just the degree of your evilness... and I agree Saddam was evil.

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?
