Re: The bold and repeated lying

PS. If the sh*theads in power cared about their constituency avoiding breadlines, they'd do the menial task of at least drawing up a budget, something they haven't done going on 4 years now (in spite of the House doing so, Mr. Reid always shelves it....it's cool, he's in the pocket of the Treasury and the FED, what does he have to worry?).

Re: The bold and repeated lying

lulz.

Actual quote:

"The one thing that actually works, state run communism a bit– may not be your cup of tea, but their government works," he added.

I didn't know stating a fact that their economy is working right now for them was such a sin. But it is to the right who are trying to link anyone and everyone to socialism/communism.

Re: The bold and repeated lying

It was praise, and there was innuendo, from someone who holds a policy position of power in our own government.

From someone who has banked FIERCELY on that wholesome commie labor.

Wow, this isn't a gross distortion or anything.

Klu Klux Klown strikes again.

Nothing distorted about it, fecal-stepper.

And you can punt your hypocritical name-calling deflections: Harry Reid Racist Comments Involving Obama Only Latest in Long Line of Racism from Democrats - Yahoo! Voices - voices.yahoo.com

Oops, Rez, any AIG savings just got wiped out almost threefold: Auto Bailout Loss Could Exceed $70 Billion (waits for the bitching about the source).

Re: The bold and repeated lying

20+ new taxes being ushered in by commiecare are nicely itemized here:

Some of you are cool with this AND want to pay higher income taxes to boot. I'm not the one on another planet.

Re: The bold and repeated lying

ahh americans for tax reform run by mr grover. not biased at all. also 80+ percent of the us agrees that takes should go back up to where they were before.

#1658800Post 89 of 98

Re: The bold and repeated lying

Those taxes exist/are increasing or they're not, bias don't have nuttin' to do with it.

No sell on tax increases unless spending returns to that level. That includes negating things like the 20 F-16 jets being sent to the burgeoning theocratic Islamic republic of Egypt.

Lulz whatever you say. Just keep quoting blogs and trying to pass them off as fact. And nice try at your comeback after three days, must have racked your brain on what to say. hahahahaa

Btw, you still play the victim better than Jodie Foster in The Accused. Still waiting for your dreams of a race war?
. Just keep quoting blogs and trying to pass them off as fact.
That's what I was thinking as well to be honest.

Re: The bold and repeated lying

Seriously. It's fucking ridiculous how dumb shits will claim that the mainstream media is a complete lie, and how they don't believe anything that's broadcast, but they'll take the word of some dumb fuck with a blog as biblical scripture, despite being unable to list any of their qualifications and verify them.

They only acid test these shitheads give on their sources is if they agree with their point of view or not, and that's it, no real counter arguments or comments from the other side. Probably because their argument would come apart at the seams if they didn't selectively pick and choose the shit that supports their argument, rather than trying to show the bigger picture. That and the fact that cutting and pasting a link is a lot easier than actually showing some critical thinking and tries to pass off the illusion that they're smart for posting that link, when it's really lazy fucking thinking. I'm betting that they couldn't effectively summarize half the bullshit posted when they pull this garbage.

That's not to say that the mainstream media doesn't distort things from time to time, they do it, and it will happen again. However, each one of these media organizations that are taking the business serious have checks and balances that keep them from doing this all the time and have journalistic standards and codes of conduct that they agree to - which is way more than the blogs that have been posted are doing. Do they get perverted by less scrupulous organizations, but they can get called out by their own.

I've done work in publishing before - I've seen stories and articles get turned down and rejected because not enough data was verified or too much speculation was in the work. What kind of check and/or balance do any of these articles have or journalistic affiliations do half these links have? Probably none.

Re: The bold and repeated lying

If the bitching now is about that Yahoo opinion piece, you are free to read the quotes that are referenced and make up your own mind regarding their racist nature. Me referencing that is a sight better than you calling me a Klu Klux Klown. How convenient you missed that, Florida, but I'm hardly surprised.

I can tell the 3 of you want to bask in your echo chamber, so I'm leaving for the holidays. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't enjoy this. Over the several years in which we've participated (most of you even longer), no one has made significant inroads in changing minds. As it plays out nationally, vindication will come to one group or another (and even to both groups to varying degrees).
blah blah blah - it took Vinnie 2 days to come up with this gobbletygook for a response.
Echo chamber? You might want to re-read 90% of your posts buttercup. Try sitting on your hands and reading the other people's arguments before picking and choosing your next link that you'll post and try to claim it as being some kind of intelligent post.

You're basically standing on a midget and calling yourself tall each time you do that.

Re: The bold and repeated lying

What arguments? I only read your posts in partiality because of the vitriol you spew. I never know if I'm going to get another crude personal slight or an actual contribution to the discussion. The few I have read recently that contain a modicum of substance are just "no, that's not true" so don't be a hypocrite.

EDIT: OK, I see your last post actually had some content. I'm not apologizing because you never apologized for the offense that resulted in me putting you on ignore in the first place (and it was patently offensive and personal).

#1659018Post 96 of 98

Re: The bold and repeated lying

okay sweetheart, you keep thinking that and don't break your finger hitting the ignore button like you usually do.

"the few you have read" - thanks for illustrating my point of your own willful ignorance.

Now like I said before, sit on your hands and try reading before frantically hitting the response button. It'll do you some good.

#1659019Post 97 of 98

Re: The bold and repeated lying

By the same token, you should do the same if you want your own posts to be read and taken seriously. Let's just say you've been less than consistent. Also, the condescension routine is getting old. It's not "frantically hitting the response button," it's just, "Do I want to take the risk of reading more personal garbage from someone who possesses the track record?" The answer is usually no.

The only people who get ignored are those who bait or make it personal (there's about 4 of you, and I don't forget easily). You fulfill both columns, so you've effectively made your own bed.

Re: The bold and repeated lying

Your signature veiled threats (ie. I don't forget easily) is really tired.

You want to be taken seriously, but you admit to not reading a lot of other people's posts and you don't address anything someone else posts unless it's convenient to your own argument. You don't see a problem with this?
