well someone has to since nobody else has a brain.
This coming from a guy who takes his name from a corny 1986 Arnold Schwarzenegger film. And, tells other people to research his claims that he won't (can't?) back up on his own.

Yeah, whatever you say brainiac.

Re: Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

I was kind of ambivalent about seeing this movie, knowing nothing about it, but I finally saw it last night and I have to say I loved it. Very well done.

I never got the name from the movie. Ladies at the club used to call me that because I went all night.

As for you it is crystal clear that you are a deadbeat with no life and no future. Highsteppa is a much better name. A white guy acting like he is black is much better and exactly what we need here at MS.;)

I find Rushdie's opinion is quite enlightening.

Great comeback, champ. Still haven't proven any of the bullshit you're claiming.

Re: Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

watched it yesterday...

It was good , I like the fact that out of a very simple subject or theme so much can be brought out , a world of different sensations,

the acting was not that good, very well directed , i really like the dynamic this director used throught the film

overall I give it a 7 out of 10 , wouldnt give it an oscar though also I wouldnt watch it again , which means it didnt leave me anything it's just an entertaining movie to watch once :)

Re: Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

^ i pretty much agree with that. the score was beyond brilliant though, and this movie sends a profound message.

i still prefere "city of god" over this, though.

+1 on that one. I really liked the music that was playing before there was this rush attack on the village(?)

other than that, to me the movie is overrated, while I have to admit it is one of the better movies I've seen lately.

Re: Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

I'd been waiting for the right mood to watch this movie ...finally and I hate to say it but I LOVED it.... I'm a sucker for a great story line and the romantic angle definitely struck a chord... its definitely one of the better movies out there... (I can see why it got the oscar - so emotional )

Too many B movies coming out lately ... its been so long since I've seen a movie that leaves me feeling all tingly like - "Damn that was good!"

Comparing this one to City of God is unfair... I love that movie too but left me feeling completely different.

Re: Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

Finally watched this one... it was pretty entertaining... really f*cked up at times, but a good movie. The kids stole the spotlight for sure, their acting was pretty amazing actually.
