Re: Heroes on NBC

Oh, I thought Eden dying was totally pointless and unnecessary. Also, the father had Claire's friend and brother's memories erased. So the guy has no recollection of ever knowing her since a certain grade. Isn't there gonna be some discrepency because he just helped her become homecoming queen by getting the fellow "geeks" to vote for her?

#765558Post 124 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

the punch got her elected, not him.

eden dying was neccessary if you factor in that her ability would make everyone but the hatiain useless in fighting sylar, if he got her power, no one could stop him. so sshe sacrificed.

#765564Post 125 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

I thought the dude got the geek community voting for her, they were cheering her on when the results came out. Didn't she only punched the other kid AFTER being voted homecoming?

Ok, agree your point about Eden's powers, but I just felt that character-wise, her taking off on her own to kill Sylar, there was not much leadup to it. Throughout the series, there wasn't enough motivation and buildup that lead to it, besides the final scene when she confronted Sylar about him killing Prof. Suresh. So it felt like a copout where the writer just decided she's gotta die.

Anyway I think that's what bugged me about the episode.

Re: Heroes on NBC

Eden was killed off due to a contract dispute. they were planning on killing her off 6 episodes later than they did, but the contract problem meant they had to do it earlier. i'm sure if the contract had worked out her death later on would have seemed more pivotal. but they werent like "ooh we need to kill someone off before the break, lets go with... um.... er... eden!" ;)

#765612Post 127 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

also i agree on the High School, etc thing... but lets face it... arguing about how realistic a show about people running around the country with superpowers is is kinda pointless. there will be plot holes and its better just to ignore them

Re: Heroes on NBC

wow. super show and good ending.

That's too bad, I thought she was pretty fine looking :what

Re: Heroes on NBC

they could have killed off nikki/jessica for all i care ... that story is kinda going nowhere

i has seen episode 11 when i asked that question.. did i miss somthing in it? does it explain anything about the scar??
they could have killed off nikki/jessica for all i care ... that story is kinda going nowhere
Yeah what she gonna do to help them "save the world". she cant even help herself. :?:

#766022Post 132 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

i think the niki/jessica story is going to end up more about the good side trying to keep micah and DL moving to the good end and jessica hurting them. micah seems like they are going to make him fairly important in the long run, like the kid with promise

Re: Heroes on NBC
That's too bad, I thought she was pretty fine looking :what
i meant that they were not doing that. she is gone because they couldnt negotiate a contract.

#766297Post 134 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

^^ i can see where micah is going to help them with his powers and DL probably as well but nikki/jessica just seems like some psycho bitch from the nut house with split personality

i have a feeling that peter doesnt exactly explode in the future but it probably might be his powers exploding to its full potential

Re: Heroes on NBC

Yeah, Isaac has a painting of a flaming dude like whatshisname from Fantastic Four, that might be Peter going up in flames.

#766643Post 136 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

that would mean he dies though surely... and i get the feeling he's kind of the "luke skywalker" of the show, so i cant see him getting killed off. then again, they are trying to stop this from happening, so maybe they succeed and all live happily ever after anyway.

Re: Heroes on NBC

maybe they do stop it and maybe they dont but i cant wait to see hiro get his sword and travel back in time to face the t-rex

Re: Heroes on NBC

Is Prison Break any good?

#782804Post 145 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

its pretty good... we've been watching it since the beginning... so we are kind of sucked in no matter what ridiculous plot twists there are

#782809Post 146 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

I am more excited for Heroes to start ... I have lost the LOST.

#782954Post 147 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

sheeeeit. i still love LOST although everyone else seems to have given up on it. i'd be interested to see what the ratings are this season, i could see them dropping it before too long if they keep going down. i think the whole 6 episodes and then 3 month break thing is hurting it, hopefully it picks up steam when it comes back.

#783053Post 148 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

Lost just seems lost after how they killed off Ecko in the last episode ... too many questions and no answers at all

#783264Post 149 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

thats what everyone says. i guess im just patient or something... i dont really care about having all the answers asap, i still think the show is entertaining as hell.

#783332Post 150 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

it is still entertaining i'm not saying that it isn't but they should give the audience some answers instead of keep on piling up with the questions

loved it. Nice way to ease back into the season. Looks like flying man is taking this a little more serious. Thank Goodness this is back. I was almost in rehab.

yeah i think older petrelli may well develop into a badass character. as before, not a fan of the nikki/jessika storyline, but the rest is looking good. invisible man, that would be cool.
