the season started slowly but its been on a roll. this season has been great in my opinion - i hope with an end in sight they plan it out well and the rest of the series is just as good. anyone got any predictions for the rest of the season?

I thought Sawyer put in a really good gripping performance in the latest episode.

Two persons from "off the island" are hinting that, and Jack and Juliette hinted that they knew something that was too early to inform the rest when Kate told them about the parachutee.

Deaths: Ben, Charlie, Kate, Sayid

Also looks like Jack will become the new leader of the Others

Ah, forgot you in the UK were one week behind the US on Lost. That ep was great, but you haven't seen anything yet. Next week's episode ("The Man Behind the Curtain") is gangbusters.

No way is Locke dead, IMO. Guy falls 8 stories and survives, a little gunshot would to the gut ought to be nothing a little Bactine can't fix, especially on the island.

hehe, just watched that episode with Locke getting shot... we are more than a week behind in the UK, i download my episodes off the net and usually watch a couple of days after its aired on your tv.

hmm.. that Jacob stuff is strange, was expecting it to be the strange man in the suit who appeared in season 1

yeah they tend to do that a lot :shock: ,

they said they were explaining lots of stuff on season 3, and to be honest the only thing they have explained is the children, and Locke's weelchair flashback.

I would really like to see the true goals of the others before this season ends. and a bit more about the hostiles. plus if locke is really dead.. the show is seriously gonna lose some fanbase.

I don't think he's dead either. There's too much build up to Locke's current role and his role on the island is still a mystery, if he was to die now, there'd be stuff unresolved. Unlike Charlie, the Korean couple, and even Hurley who can be written off with no impact on the plot.

I don't think you could get rid of Hurley without major repercussions from the fans. Moreover, he has a way of appearing in episodes that seem like they are just fun and meaningless and have no impact upon the story, only to find out later in the series that they had real significance. Who knew that that Dharma van he found would turn out to be the final resting place of Ben's Dad, for instance?

i think Charlie will die today probably, last preview hinted it and i dont think Desmond will be wrong. also i dont remember (or know who is meant by) the "strange man in the suit" mentioned above. unless the poster means jack's dad...

I actually kinda doubt that he will die, if only because that's exactly what they've been leading us to believe, and lost is rarely that linear.

yeah think i got confused, jack saw a man in a suit in the jungle, which turned out to be his dad.. but nothing more came of it?
