worst movie ever... when you break it down none of it makes sense and the acting in the movie is the worst acting ever.... just a fake horror movie that ended with some unbelievable parts that made me hate the thing, a friend of mine enjoyed it though for some odd reason... not worth renting imo... cheers :Cheerz:

I saw it a couple of months ago and i thought it was really really good, im so fed up with all the horror movies that involves blood, hearts and kidneys flying all over the screen, saw was good because it had a little more then just that in it. Danny Glover made one hell of a worthless role tho but im not suprised, ive never really liked him, too dull.

I liked it, it felt kinda fresh in some way.

my girl and i just watched this last night. she thought it was gross and i thought it was pretty stupid. what the fuck was danny glover's role in this movie? it was almost like a cameo, he had such a pointless role. the ending was a shock, but not far-fetched. if i was in that room, i think it would have been pretty fucking easy to figure out what was going on. without giving the ending away, lets just say i kind of expected something stupid like that in the end.

i'll give it a 2 out of 5 stars. it just didn't do it for me. touche, for those that liked it. to each, their own. 8)

On the Danny Glover-part i totally agree, he was very very boring and seemed so out of focus that it looked like it was his first role ever.

I didn't like the movie...the idea behind it was not bad but a policeman not beeing able to hit somebody with a dozen of bullets the stupid and pointless end ruined everything for me. :roll:

Everybody's panning this movie- I thought it was great. Sure, the acting wasn't the best, but that wasn't the point.

My favorite part is when Carrie Elwes says "Fuck this shit!" and starts sawing away really hard at his shackles. Classic!

This was such a twisted movie. The acting was about the worst I've seen in my life but then there was the sheer magnitude of the twisted events taking place... It was worth seeing but definetly not one the best movies out there.

This is one of the worst, most ripped off movies of all time. What pissed me off was that the script was so bad most people couldn't even tell it was stolen from Seven.

Danny Glover was awful in this, and Cary Elwes got into the over the top emoting box by the end of the film as well. The traps this guy had made were so rediculously elaborate, you'd think that the FBI might be making a note to check out anyone buying insane amounts of razor wire, hand grenades or rediculously elaborate helmets that will blow people's jaws open. The traps themselves were like something out of a Wile E. Coyote Cartoon.

I did think the surprise at the end was clever, but the film overall was a downhill slide and the sequel being filmed here in Toronto sounds as preposterously bad as well.

This film was all hype and no delivery.

I heard it was bad-but nobody really watches these shits for oscar nominations...... Amittyvile Horror looks scary as shit-but then again-I worry that given my "recreational" background exposing oneself to all that violence could make me go crazy "so I got that going for me....."

I agree, "SAW" is a good movie. It's not an outstanding thing, but very interesting to watch. The style reminds little on "Seven" and the best of the movie is the end of it, like the end in the movie "Seven".

I wasnt aware it was shot in just 17 days man. Excellent twist at the end, a bit like getting that piece of the jigsaw that makes everything else fall into place.

Theres a trailer for the second one over on apple.com but it doesnt give much away.

Saw is such a cop-out piece of shit. If only they hadn't bogged it down with Danny fucking Glover's detective story - who the fuck cares? Keep it in the room THE WHOLE TIME - that's a testament to a great director and great actors if they can keep it tense and interesting. But nope - we have to vacillate between shitty house and police station sets. Ugh. Sure, "Saw 2" looks marginally better but all the cop stuff looks like "Law and Order" quality. Buh.

Thought it was fresh and although the acting was terrible in places the plot kept the pace going. Loved the twisted situations some of the characters were put in but i think that doing a sequel is a bad manouvre!

There was alot of hype for this movie. to me basically a big disappointment. Not scary at all. Pretty lame actually. Save your time.

Pretty duff movie, I think it was shot all shitty on purpose, kinda quirky you know. but the bear trap head thing was pretty neat eh.:evil: :shock:

Allthough I was jumping up and down at the end saying "fuck me" it was still a poor excuse for a horror movie.
