no i fully disagree!, we should keep the sub forums and have garcia lncluded bcuz its a nice organized and secluded location to discuss chat, & post videos of the best artists who [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=543"]we love[/URL] and have supported the most on ms throughout the years

If I'm being honest, I haven't committed 30 mins or an hour to listening to one of MG's mixes. How is the sound quality of this mix? I appreciate it Chuck. I would love for the first mix I really listen to be above average sound quality. I'm getting picky in my old age I guess :lol:

the sound is not bad at all.

just make sure and listen to it on your home stereo cranked, preferably with a subwoofer...

i jammed it today and was just amazed, but as we all know diff strokes for dif folks. garcia is becoming one of the best at mixing, nice long transitions.

The subforums are a lot more than just sources for sets. Why fix what just isn't broken ?? They show respect to our favourite Djs .

Much as I hate subforums I think you would be better off creating one sub forum but only where users can post music from the top 50 subscribed artists in the MS database (not necessary 50 look at the demographics and draw a line where you think the tastes of the forum are represented), sort of like a VIP or Favourite 50 type thing. It could also be reviewed at the periodically to accommodate with users changing tastes over periods of time. I don't really see the point in having a subforum for a DJ who releases about 4 sets a year. If they have a weekley radio show have one specifically for that show, but everything else chuck them all in together. At the moment the P&R section is no way an indication of the music favoured by the community.

I agree with Chris and it sounds like a great idea. I know Picklez likes the 0day thing that took over the P&S section but maybe it's time for the gostbusters to bring some cleanage. Some of those links die quickly too.

I'm sure I am the only one :lol:[/QUOTE] There are probably others :lol: Took me a while to get into Martin, I always thought he was technically great but his music was cold emotionally to me. Was probably his producer side that kept me going back, and it's worth it. :D Don't know whether is is me growing or him , but I definitely hear more emotion in his work now and appreciate him a lot more!! Definitely in my top 10 .

However I still don't think the delta mixes are good enough quality. The clicks etc are much better , but I always find rar files sadly lacking. The bass is this awful muffled thud. I really wish he would make his music more accessible in better quality. But hey, if he is happy who am I to tell him what to do ?? . :lol:

Anyway i can say after like 10 years or so, his technique is quite amazing.. if you like deep dark progressive or whatever, Martin is a world wide must.. Give him a main stage and there won't be a doubt about it 8)

Totally agree.

he´s definitely in my top 5 and could be my top 2. His sound is so unique. just like Hernan. :D I think his case is a particular case. has all the talent and the potential. but he is too "human" to be famous. may be he don´t like traveling. :D

Would love if if he was able to put a studio cd like balance or renaissance together, he is much deserving.
