^Hoff is hilarious!
Only listened to CD 2 so far, since I am veritably a liveset junkie... it's a grower, I'd say, though not a patch on the Vagabond set on the first Structures. I'm failing to like that Kick 1 Kick 2 track, I just don't get it, nor am I particularly enamoured with Follow Me. Highpoints: the transition out of Driven is just lush, an example of why I love house music; and the final four tracks, which offer a somewhat light ending after the darkness that preceded it. Would have been interesting to have a second CD to hear what followed.
I'll have to give the other CDs some love soon.

listened to cd2, kinda sums up why i dont bother going to see Digweed anymore, very average with 1 or 2 decent tracks thrown in - dont get why he would put a mix like that on the album
still loving that ambient mix of Mistral though - brilliant, i might buy the album just for cd1

really?!!! seeing digweed live is a whole different thing that cant be summed up by listening to the album, the guy reaches very high levels in his shows...and the better the crowd the further he goes..i personally cant wait to see him live again

Not gonna start laying into Digweed, its just the last 3 times i went to see him it was like the live mix on the cd - average, just average. Waiting for it to kick off but never happening until maybe the last hour you might 1 good tune that gets the place going.... ive probably been spoiled over the years is the problem
anyways just my 2c, i know there are plenty of people on here who are massive Digweed fans, i think cd1 is excellent

Maybe its the wrong nights and wrong clubs ... although some clubs may be better for you depending on the sound and intensity you are seeking. Some people don't like the slow build over several hours, where as really I do.
So far this year JD's 2.5 midweek hours at fabric were excellent for music in a deeper tech-house way, while the set at Arches had the bigger tunes without being banging, wheras for the O2 in Leeds John was thumping it out more. I'd say that Diggers in the Space Discoteca is one of the best places to hear him outside of fabric.

bro i was gonna loose my brain at vagabond this year, i didnt know if i was in the late 90's or early 2000's or if i time travelled to the future...he played from 12:30 till about 7:30 and did his thing like no one ever did...i couldnt even take a break and just have a convo with anyone, the moment i tried to sit for a min some mean fukin beat came and i found myself standing rite away..\
totally agree with chuckc comment, evo dont miss digweed live, even if once he was ok know that next time u might be vortexed, its the diggy man

^^sounds like my experience in vagabond 2008. but there is no one else that comes close to the talent and quality music of digweed. he is still, hands down the best dj to hear live. no one even comes close
