I can handle July. It's nice that now releases are getting a little more spaced out on their release dates. No more spending a shitload of money to pick up multiple releases in a single week (although it was kind of fun doing that, even if it was expensive).

So far so good! Lots of great gigs and now the Ibiza and festival season is starting I’m excited about starting to play some outdoor gigs.

I think it is because I always try to stay upfront with my music and be consistent with my DJ`ing.

I try and play from deep house to techno and everything in between.

I use CDJ 2000`s with Allen & Heath mixer and Pioneer EFX 1000. This format works great for me and I am happy with this set up.

My laptop for staying in touch and doing edits while I’m travelling.

I love playing in Romania, the crowd are always to responsive and love to party. There is also lots of great music coming out of Romania.

For the next few months I will be touring around the world promoting my new ‘Structures Two’ album on Bedrock.

One of the toughest things to do in any music genre is reach legendary status. In order for an artist to reach legendary status in dance music, a few things have to happen. First of all, their career has to go beyond the 15-year mark (doesn't sound like that long, but in dance music it's an accomplishment if you're still producing hits after three years). Second of all, you still need to be actively touring, "living legend" always sounds better. And lastly, they need to have their own label. Not to say that this is the end all be all list, but they're certainly three aspects that every legendary DJ-producer has checked off. One man that certainly falls into this category is British DJ-producer, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=2"]John Digweed[/url]. First breaking out onto the scene in the early 90s with his partner in crime, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=5"]Sasha[/url], now, his career is nearly two decades old, but he's still one of the most popular names in dance music. Next month he'll be releasing the three-disc Structures album, but he's currently busy on a North American tour that lasts until this September.

We recently caught up with Digweed to see what restaurant he wishes he could take on the road with him, what's changed most about club culture, and what his favorite clubs are to play in the U.S.

Clubplanet: After hours of DJing, sometimes it may be best to get away from the studio monitors. Where does a world-renown DJ like to grab a drink on a night off?

he personally looks forward to it and every person there is a true fan and u can just feel a huge digweed loving vibe in the place coz he knows it too, the more the dj is having fun and connecting to the place and people the more incredible the experience is. vagabond really brings out the best of the man, witnessed it twice and will def say that its different from any other digweed...its like his night there..this year i felt for a while he went back in time to the N.E. era

^^^yeah i was there once in 2008 (still considered his best vagabond set by some) and I agree with all your points...Not to mention its a fairly small venue so it has the intimate feel to it also.

I was at this Avalon set as well. It was such an amazing night, and I'm stoked to be able to listen to at least a part of that set anytime I want. June 20 won't come soon enough!

I was also at Avalon for Digweed's NYE gig... also an amazing night. He's on fire right now, and I can't wait until he returns to LA.
