yea he is very lucky. my dad recently in January had a hemorrhage in his head caused by an aneurysm... luckily for my dad, and bret because their hemorrhages clogged themselves so they didnt die instantly.

ddr, sorry to hear that your father had to go through something like that. I hope he is doing much better. Aneurysms and hemorrhage's in the brain are very scary, unpredictable things that can happen at any time and at any age :(

Very sad....hopefully he pulls through.

A former co-worker of mine had a similar thing happen to him. He had a hole in his hear that had apparently been there since birth, that he never even knew existed caused him to have a stroke at 48, but his stroke was more than a "warning stroke". Its crazy that you could have a hole in your heart that goes undetected for so long
