Who would you like to see do one?
I think there is plenty of talent out there but since they werent HUGE from 98-2002 or progressive house, i dont think GU will give them the time of day.. but to name a few that come to mind right now... craig richards, swayzak, nic fancuilli, andrew weatherall, or dj hell would be nice.

Re: Global Underground #39 Dave Seaman

Fanciulli's GU came out in 2008 actually, not last year.
^ true!

why didnt they stick to the cities theme?
Perhaps because in those countries, the greater population doesn't know any cities in those countries. Especially the one where the dj mix is supposed to take place.

Re: Global Underground #39 Dave Seaman

Have heard Cd1 a few times now - it's above average for me, with a couple of filler tracks in there. The last track is indeed brilliant, reminds me of the good old prog days of the late 90's

Only heard CD2 once - there was one god awful track on there but I'll give it another whirl this w/e

Re: Global Underground #39 Dave Seaman

Can't really remember GUs past 20... Hope this one will make it stick!

Re: Global Underground #39 Dave Seaman

After a 2nd listen CD2 was no better, bar the May/Jamieson track.

Not sure if I will revisit this over the weeks/months. When i tend to dislike one Cd in a set I never listen to the other CD!
