#324840Post 2 of 65

#324842Post 3 of 65

where is the PROG choice?

#324843Post 4 of 65

there is plenty of quality country if you know where to look

i can't stand this nu-metal stuff or whatever they call it...music for/by whining teens

#324844Post 5 of 65

I don't like Rap & Hip-Hop

#324846Post 6 of 65
where is the PROG choice?
"some type of electronic music"

duh

#324848Post 7 of 65

Definetely Country, with whiny R&B crap like R Kelly and shit, and popular main stream Rap (anything they play on Hip Hop Radio) coming in as a close second and third.

#324853Post 8 of 65

and clay aiken imo

#324855Post 9 of 65

someone should kill clay aiken. i felt like offing myself after enduring his NBC christmas special.

#324858Post 10 of 65

and crappy pop bands that try to call themselves "punk"

fuck that

look in dictionary under "punk" see: the clash, sex pistols, etc.etc. thanks

#324860Post 11 of 65

actually i didnt fully watch it. i turned it on to see what kind of commercial garbage kids and parents would be watching. believe me it was awful.

#324861Post 12 of 65

Hell yea, my idea of hell would be being forced to watch American Idol and the CMA (Country Music awards) all day. Hopefully lucifer isn't reading this.

Re: What is your least favorite genre of music?

If jazz was there it would get my vote so ive gone with other Ive tried and tried but i just don`t get it at all. :NotMe:

#324875Post 15 of 65

jazz is awesome - if its the right type of jazz imo.

#324876Post 16 of 65

Jazz & Blues is awesome MJ. You just gotta get in to it.

Try some New Jazz like Saint-Germain. Their album "Tourist" was great!

#324878Post 17 of 65

^jazz? i'm gonna break your legs

#324883Post 18 of 65

i like it all!! i can feel different elements from different styles of music and relate them with EDM.....even classical music has a sort of "dance music" feel to it.... :)

#324885Post 19 of 65

has anyone seen collateral? the scene in the jazz club, what type of jazz would that be considered. i fuckin' love it.

jazz seems to have more friggin genres than electronic music

#324890Post 20 of 65

I too cant stand country, I also hate happy hardcore

#324891Post 21 of 65

Country from the list.

Hate manufactured boy/girl bands.

Westlife would go straight into room 101!

If your in a so called band you have to be able to play instruments, not stand there look pretty and dance like a fuck.

#324893Post 22 of 65
i like it all!! i can feel different elements from different styles of music and relate them with EDM.....even classical music has a sort of "dance music" feel to it.... :)
Yes but country has no EDM elements. Just plain aweful music. But what do you expect from a genre where there are only 2 people writing all of the music for all the so called "artists"

#324896Post 23 of 65

i just watched Collateral last night. that scene in the jazz bar was cool. ive been dying to go sip martini's at a jazz bar. no idea on the genre of jazz that was though pel, just wanted to say i like jazz.

#324897Post 24 of 65

That was Miles Davis. One of the best Jazz musicians.

I also loved the scene in the club btw. It was a Paul Oakenfold track.

so the guy tom cruise shot was miles davis? he was playing the jazz club owner?

#324920Post 28 of 65

Sorry, like i said i just dont get it, iknow its all very hip and trendy to be a jazz fan but it does nothing for me at all. To me it sounds like a group of guys playing thier own thing at the same time with the end result sounding like a mish mash of garbage.

I tell you what, someone hook me up with something they think will change my mind and i`ll see what i think
so the guy tom cruise shot was miles davis? he was playing the jazz club owner?
i think he's wrong if thats what he's saying

i dont see miles davis credited anywhere on imdb.com

the music might be him... i will have to listen to "a kind of blue" again when i get home

#324927Post 31 of 65

I love the scene where he is getting his suitcase back from those two tards. Smacks the dudes gun away and executes them both military style.

#324929Post 32 of 65
mine is country
Thats a knee slapper! What kind of poll is this? I thought the Mercury Server was aimed at EDM and nothing more or less. How could any of us answer outside of the "some type of electronic music" category? :?: If you do, is this the right place for you :?:

#324933Post 33 of 65

Other? Whats this? Polka? Yeah, thats my favorite!

#324936Post 34 of 65

Hmm weird. I thought I heard the name "Miles Davis" in that movie. But maybe it was the club-owner that talked about him. I may be wrong here. Sorry!

I think you need to re-read the thread title. Its LEAST favorite

#324946Post 38 of 65

Yeah, I got it, just noticed, I screwed up! None the less, I think we could check them all besides the electroni category

#324949Post 39 of 65
