Really interested to see what he comes up with. Chromophobia is one of my favourite albums, unfortunately I don't think that Take My Breath Away lived up to it.

Think he peak about a year ago Guy J sort of stole his thunder, maybe a Guy Gerber Nu Breed would be cool. Motorcitysoul, Paolo Mojo, or maybe NID.

the addicted mix is tight. i'm hoping he doesn't go too producer showcase here because his taste in other producer's music is great. the essential mix from this year is pretty good. he used a lot of tracks from the recent album that i didn't like individually which speaks for his djing i think. this could be really cool...

hey clint

this wasn't a comp in the true sense of the word. like gui's essential mix, it was a mixed collection of his own tracks and remixes. this mix collection will be the first time he's sourced beyond his own material.

yeah, hands-up on two counts here. we really weren't aware gui had done a comp like this before. it kinda went under the radar here in the uk, but that's no excuse, we should have known.

as for the tracklist, we googled it and it must have got muddled with another mix he did because it was totally incorrect. eitherway, we got it wrong.

The guy is massively overhyped imo. There are better producers out there and from his mixes I heard also better djs. Sorry but it's not his league yet to be doing Renaissance comp. Still I will probably check him out in Cable at the Renaissance inauguration.

Will have to grab me one of these and have a listen. I dig his production, not too keen on his spinning though... Nubreed Comp would have been better suited,.. time will tell.
