I have been stalked, harassed and attempts at blackmail made by a board member. I think that to stop it I have to give more personal information than I would have liked. This was the latest attempt in a long list of pm's .

I'm still not saying how old, but I did make myself a t/shirt that said "Not the Djs Mum" :lol: This shouldn't be problem but unfortunately I have found that it tends to colour the way people respond to me. I loved this place because I could rabbit on all I like about music, and be judged purely on what I said. I also like the fact that with most of the board you can disagree quite strongly and still have a reasonable discussion. But this particular board member seems to think people opinions are made by if it pisses him off or not. ??? Believe me I have been far from trying to piss you off. What I found incredibly disturbing is the effort this person went to find pictures of me. Reading everything I say in local forums etc. I mean like how pathetically twisted can you be to hunt down little old ladies on the internet.???:lol:

Btw one of the advantages to being older is that I have seen and heard many, many wonderful gigs and an amazing amount of incredible music !! Another is that people tend to remember me :lol: As a young guy said "Well of course he would remember you " when Hernan reached out to me when he came on. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I go out, I love dancing, I am great fun to party with:D I have great times and while I go out for the music and not the social aspects I have met some really wonderful people [Add Pipey from last night :)] who actually value me in the scene. Including one international Dj in particular. :D I intend to keep doing all of this for as long as I feel the passion !! :D And I'm going to keep on rabbiting on about it ! ! :lol:

I disagree ... it seems a wise move - I think Didi's aim is to make the person consider how they've been acting and how this is viewed by others on the forum. There's nothing like peer pressure to make you re-assess things.

This person should consider how they value music and the music forums out there - these places are a tight knit group ... if e.g. you're a person that wanted to DJ or produce music and get your mixes/compositions out there and gain some respect etc. then you shouldn't ruin your rep by petty actions and coming across as a border line pycho ... that quickly ruins your credibility and word can get out within the industry.

This behaviour needs to stop asap.

However, after this, if it keeps up, you need to tell a mod, Kamal or TomTom. Arguing over different points of opinion on a forum and goofing around at times is one thing, but when it goes behind the scenes and people are being threatened or receiving threatening comments it needs to stop and not be tolerated.
