I found couple of good hotels around Kings Cross & Euston Sqr, which is close to Fabric, access to Victoria, Northern & Piccadily line.

I've got the task of looking for accomodation for 5 x people ... some of whom are fussy. They want the hotel at a budget price, in a central area and with a reasonable check out.

So it means finding a triple and double that come in at reasonable rates.

Not the easiest of tasks ... kicking myself for going out Thu and Fri for drinks, otherwise it'd have been booked !

What is budget prices simon ? check out hotels.co.uk .... Ambassador Blomsbury looks like good option.

i land friday (16th) at noon, head back wednesday (21st) afternoon. Looking forward to seeing more of london than my last trip, which consisted mainly of seeing matter, my hotel room, and a few tourist attractions before getting on a plane again :lol:

Another question - how easy is it to get to/away from. Not too bothered about getting there, but at the end of the night I'll want to get home pretty quick - will need to get to Kings Cross Thameslink to get a train north - will that be manageable?

2 x Bedrocks 1 Renaissance and 3 x shut tubes. If the tube is shut this time I will be asking Diggers for the cab fare £40 each way :lol:
