The reason this thread reignited is because you left an unsigned neg rep, to which feather responded to in quite a benign way. You seemed to take that personally and attacked and threatened both of us. Which actually made sense when you admitted that you had left it. But what both he and I said was not aimed at you because we simply had no way of knowing, until you told us. that you had left the rep. That simple.

I actually suspected someone totally different.

You can't realistically expect people to just accept this without some acknowledgement at least.

Yes I went on a deletion binge coz I believe better have few but good quality friends than a lot but "mediocre" quality (if not bad quality) so called "friends. I always joke along with any types of jokes that come at me. But even fun has its limits and time, which I tend to broadly accept them. But sometimes some users tend to push it further to the point of turning a joke into an offensive remark that could hurt someone's feelings. In my case I am getting to my 7th month of pregnancy with twins, and I am facing HUGE problems in my private life coz HUGE responsibilities are about to fall on my shoulders, without mentioning the psycological and physical changes I am goign through. To put it in other words I am going through a "shitty" tough period. I come to MS to escape these problems and seek a good time here, an enjoyable one. But I see that some users cross the line of respect it bothers me, and the swing of mood that my pregnancy is causing me it is not helping me accept ALL these jokes.

So why don't u ladies & gents give me a break and try to joke on something else, at least till I deliver and get morally and physically back in shape. Just the respect for a pregnant woman's sake, is it that to much to ask? What, are some members of MS lacking that much sensitivity and comprehesion? Boy I blames your future spouses or the future bearer of your children then... With a partner like you, a father to be, God help your ladies!

Time and again you have come back and participated in this thread when new posts weren't even directed at you. If you wanted a break, why don't you back away slowly from the computer and the internet, sit back, and watch some TV or spin some music or do whatever you do. The energy, time, and emotions you have exerted in this thread is hardly what I would consider a 'break.'

Some of us might think it's a bit over the top, some of us might think you're oblivious to what we tried discussing in here, and some of us will feel that the misfortune of being a good looking woman on an internet forum has put you in such a position and situation that continually trigger scenarios like this (even if I think everyone can agree that you do in fact enjoy the attention) and that in fact we're just a bunch of sad desperate music geeks. But nobody ever bore you any ill will, nobody set out to do whatever you think is being done to you.

I also understand that MS, especially GYY, is a small community. We come on here and interact with each other enough that I consider all of you friends even if we've never met. So as much as I would like to say 'it's only the internet,' I do appreciate that sometimes, it's not just the internet. And it is this weird pseudo virtual proximity to each other that cause these dysfunction to happen.

But on the internet, not everyone will agree with you, not everyone will give you the time of the day cos you're good looking or pregnant, some people will act like love sick puppies around you, some people will try to be some deluded knight in shining armour, and some people are reading this thinking wtf are these losers doing, some are laughing their asses off and thinking thank god I have a life, and some will think I'm the bigger loser for typing up this long ass post.

Be it the internet, MS, or real life, it's entirely up to you how much you want to let things affect you, especially over things you have no control.
