I have 18 booked for Saturday, then over to watch the Women's US Open on Sunday. I am looking forward to it... The are playing 5 minutes from where I live.

i am. play once or twice a week here in colorado. colorado has some amazing courses.
played here last weekend, fossil trace is golden. there are dinosaur fossils in and around the course in these rocks...

Yeah I'm addicted to golf too. Especially with this nice weather. I really love the feeling and the beautifull views. It feels like I'm on holiday when I pass the big gate :D.

finally played again this week with one of my bosses after not playing since December (Hawaii) and wow, i need to work on my swing.. some holes were better than others but my consistency has gone out the fuckin window.

I nearly got in 2 full rounds this weekend before the rain started, saw 2 alligators (4 footers at the course below) while playing Saturday morning. I played much better on the 2nd day which really solidified the fact that I need to play more often before expecting to really lower my score significantly ...had a great time though!

my games starting to really improve! I shot for birdie this past weekend after arriving to the 14th hole, a par 3, and for $10 (donation) if you made it on the green from the tee you got 10% off at the pro shop, 2 boxes of free balls or a free hat...Donations went to jr. golf or some bs. Anyway, being the 3rd best player of the 3 of us I decided to press my luck and see what I could do w. the pressure on (a little). So after the best player of the 3 of us hit one in the water due to a distraction by some other golfers not to far away, I stepped up and hit one less than a foot from the hole :lol: I forgot to mention that the girl who took our donations and witnessed it was pretty hot too, lol... anyway, it was just one of those small but fulfilling moments in life.

Haven't played for a few weeks sadly. The weather is getting a lot nicer as spring approaches, sunny & 24 at the moment. I would be playing this sunday... but I'll be seeing jody wisternoff the night before, so I'm not sure it would be a great idea :p

2/1/2010 = 58 more days until golf season!!! Happy February. I'm posting this because on my lunch break I drove by a local course and they had the pins in... Too bad is 20(F) degrees outside or I might have taken a sick day :p

seriously, had to wait one time for the "greens to thaw" in 25 degree weather for 2 hours. it sucked because the club house didn't even open because of that. froze my nuts off. still got to play, just two hours later. :) i don't think it ever got above 35 or 40 that day. and i didn't know you couldn't play if the ground was frozen because walking on the grass would kill it. i just thought it'd be a lot harder to shoot well!

Was planning on the 14+ inches of snow we got by heading out last night to Target to buy a Wii and Tiger Woods 2010... I was told that Nintendo stops making Wii's between Jan and Feb... I couldn't believe that to be true... Called 6 Wal-Marts, 3 Targets, BestBuy and Game Stop... Not a single Wii in any of the stores...
I was all set to crank the heat in the house, put on some shorts and a visor, get a 12 pack of coors light on ice and act like it was July...
I was told 2010 was sick... Also I was told that the extra add on for the remote makes it even better... What's your thought? Do you need the extra piece?

Only time I ever drink beer is on a golf course. I hate the shit. Coors Light is the only beer I can drink because is tastes like water. ;)
Can't argue with that...
Golf though, IMO is not "bent"... Try it a few more times and I am sure you will get hooked... Even if you are not any good... It is still a great time! :D

I had 200 golf balls at a driving range a little while ago and in the evening my forearms were so sore i couldnt even hold a pint. Was quite good fun though.
